Beba... One of my favorite restaurants in Montreal! The service is impeccable. The food was excellent. The veal breast was a standout, perfectly prepared & bursting with flavor. The flan was a delightful finale to our meal, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. Highly recommend for a unique culinary journey! 👌🍽️
Amazing dinner at Beba!! Everyone on the staff was smart, funny, relaxed, professional, & served us with an easygoing charm that made us feel right at home. We weren't pressured to order too many dishes (we shared everything), & the recommended wine was delish. We shared a salad (great), an empanada (even better), & the cotto with pickled asparagus (my late addition, couldn't resist, & an excellent choice, IMHO) to start. I had the rabbit for my main, only the 2nd time I've tried it, & it was so damn tender & perfectly (lightly) seasoned. But my wife's cavatelli with a beef ragu was to die for. One of the best pasta dishes I've sampled in a long, long time. Tender, flavorful, OMG. Run don't walk.

We had to chance to dine at this lovely restaurant for our anniversary. Really loved our experience, especially with the excellent service from the waiter staff who made sure to put a lot of attention. The food was of great quality & we definitely enjoyed our meal. The beef cheek was amazingly tender & the empanada was definitely the best one we've had so far. Would definitely recommend

Le service est impeccable, tout sur le menu avait l'air délicieux mais nous nous sommes arrêtées sur les incontournables du Beba ainsi qu'un de leur spécial. C'était pour un anniversaire & je n'aurais pas pu mieux choisir comme endroit pour célébrer! Un gros merci à toute l'équipe! Cheers 💓
Entrées décevantes pour le prix (champignons barigoule & salade) Cependant les plats principaux étaient excellents. Prix élevé pour l expérience culinaire
Cute decor, loved the 80s music. Stellar service. Explained all the menu items & water was always full. Checked in regularly. Mushroom, sunchoke, & olives were a nice appetizer, especially the high quality olives, but not really much for presentation or portion of mushrooms. Like it was literally just poured on the plate. Pork steak with gnocco & rapini was perfect. Pasta & beef roast was delicious but not much for presentation. Chocolate torte had plenty of hazelnuts & olive oil which made it crunchy & smooth. Tea for One, Italian Buck, & another cocktail were well crafted.

Hidden gem in the city. Everything is so different & delicious. FOOD: (menu changed) • Beef Tounge: crunchy but so tender. I'm impressed that it's appetizer but it's so big. Quite overly seasoned with salt. But overall this's my favorite. • Oysters mushrooms: they steamed it for a while before quickly stir fried it, that makes the mushroom keep it jucy, fresh flavor & crunchy. • Beef cheek: so tender & delicious. The fat flavor was balanced out with the acidic taste of red wine & slightly bitterness of the sausage. • Flan: not bad but could be better. It's quite sweet with both caramel sauce & caramel cream • Chocolate tart: very rich chocolate flavor. Not a big fan of chocolate tart but this's pretty good one. SERVICE: great service, very friendly & chatty waiter. VIBE: This place is tiny & not for big group. There're only about 5 small tables & some bar seats.
Overall a satisfying experience. Lived up to the hype food & atmosphere wise. The flan was really out of this world. Everything else was unique & delicious. Small & cozy joint with a very warm ambiance. Deducted one star because we felt like we were actually being kicked out once our 2 hr limit hit. Understand the popularity & limited seating space, but I had to basically gulp down my wine while getting up to leave because we were rushed with them handing us our coats at the table within seconds the receipts printed. Appreciate that the waitress took her time to go through the menu & brought us additional wine options after we already settled on a bottle, but looking back, I think we would've preferred to have that time back to not feel rushed & enjoy the experience at the end. Didn't feel like there was too much effort to explain or try to accommodate us & that took away from the experience at the end unfortunately.
Staff are attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere is somehow welcoming, casual & sophisticated at the same time, not pretentious at all. Food is amazing!! I've been a few times & each time I've said "this might be the best.. pork... brisket... tagliatelle ... I've ever had in my life." The cocktails are delicious & well balanced + good wines, beers & other spirits by the glass (great selections of digestifs). Definitely $$$ but well worth the money for the impeccable service & food. It is definitely a first choice for me for special occasions!
Beba is like food Disneyland for me. I wish I lived in Montreal so I could make this my regular dinner place. The rabbit gnudi were amazing, as was the ginormous slab of seared sweetbreads. Wine pairing was a bit off this time & would've preferred a more gastronomic wine if that makes any sense, but the food was excellent enough that I'm not upset about it.
Beba was incredible! The food is so unique & delicious, I got to try so many new things. I also want to shout out our server Evan who was amazing! He provided some of the best service I've ever had a restaurant & made the experience that much more fun.
After the meal the girlfriend & I ranked this in our top 3 restaurents of montreal it reminded us of a restaurent in Madrid. It's small & cosy, our table wasn't ready which wasn't a big deal but they apologized & served us each a glass of wine while we waited. We sat in front of the kitchen & enjoyed watching every dish come out. When we ordered the waitress Bianca suggested to change the order of the dishes to truly appreciate the flavors. Then the barman Antoine suggested us some diggestives acording to our tastes. I'm Argentinian & I can vouch the empanadas were amazing. The dishes came out one after the other with enough time in between to appreciate each one & have a conversation.

From the service to the food, this place was excellent. Went above & beyond my expectations. Would recommend the mushrooms as a starter/side as well as the beef tongue.
100% agree on Beba's rating of #8 for Canada's top 100 best restaurants of 2023. From beginning to end, nothing fell short. Every dish was done perfectly, the service is top notch & the overall atmosphere is just awesome.
I recently dined at Restaurant Beba & had a mixed experience. The food was pretty good with decent flavors & presentation, but I felt it was a bit too expensive for what it offered. On a positive note, the service was nice - the staff were attentive & friendly. However, there were moments when the staff engaged in conversation a bit too much, which some diners might find excessive. I didn't try the drinks myself, but my friends who did were quite impressed. They mentioned that the drinks were one of the highlights of their evening. So, if you're into cocktails or specialty beverages, this might be a great place for you. Overall, the staff were friendly & the atmosphere was welcoming. While I appreciated the quality of the food, I believe it could be priced more appropriately. Would recommend for a nice evening out, especially if you're keen on trying some unique drinks.
It was my second visit to Beba & it was still amazing. The kitchen accommodated to opt out the sweetbreads for us. The food was amazing! & the staff was friendly & accommodating.
Canada 100's 8th best restaurant in the country, but my personal favourite. It deserves its success, even though I'd love to keep it all to myself. Longue vie à Beba!
