We had a wonderful dinner here on the patio! The food was great but the service was even better. Evan did a wonderful job & was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. He was super kind & made us feel relaxed & comfortable. The cocktails were also excellent! I am gluten free & they were also very accommodating for this. Overall it was a great night & I highly recommend!
Finally had a chance to try Beba, I really wanted to like this place the atmosphere & especially service is top notch wow! Cocktails & especially the desserts were also top notch unfortunately the rest of the food was good but not great. I know they vary the menu throughout the year so very possible we got unlucky on the dishes given the rave reviews from others. Great experience overall though would go back to give another chance for sure!

Finally. A good "fancy" restaurant where the portions were good for the price. You get exactly what your order with no frills. Just good quality ingredients. Cocktails were on par with high end cocktails bars but at a more reasonable price. Seasonal menu makes me excited to come back!
Beba never fails to deliver an outstanding dining experience. The waitstaff are casual, but seriously know their wines & propose superb pairings with the unique dishes that are Beba's signature. Incredible value, highly recommended.
First of all i would like to begin by stating that the service was amazing. Our waitress was attentive & had great recommendation. The food was okay nothing to write home about it. The chef was however unbearable. On more then one occasion i overheard him (was seated right in front of him) say to our waitress things like what do they want again we dont have time for that etcétera. Honestly never met someone so full of them self. I felt bad for the waitress. The atmosphere & the service are at the rendez-vous. The chef & the food was not.
The food was flavorful & the service excellent... but price vs quantity didn't add up. I understand things cost more these days but my complaint is more about the amount of meat they serve... we ordered a rack of lamb & rabbit, the rack of lamb was mostly fat & almost no meat... & the rabbit was full of bones & not much meat either (half of the plate was the ribs of the rabbit)... if you're looking for a place to have a tiny bite & having room for more (unless you order EVERYTHING in the menu) this is the place... our third plate was pasta. With two glasses of beer it cost us for two people $170.00
I enjoyed this menu a lot. The food was nice & I would like to try more dishes. I liked the service. Recommend this for a table of two or four. Small & cozy

Un succès des l'arrivée. Équipe accueillante, ambiance chaleureuse & un menu à faire saliver. Maquereau, lapin, fessant, légumes & encore plus... Tout cuit a la perfection & avec un respect pour les saisons. Une visite ne suffit pas.
Petit restaurant populaire bien caché dans une rue résidentielle de Verdun. L'ambiance est sombre & agréable, le service impeccable. Côté nourriture: tout était bon & bien exécuté, mais les saveurs étaient plutôt standard. Rien de révolutionnaire, mais un court menu qui change souvent & qui met en valeur les ingrédients saisonniers.

We were here after reading so many good reviews & can't wait to try, yet it doesn't reach the level that it is hyped for. The staff was friendly & we were explained in detail about the menu. However, the food was bland & average with very common sauces from other restaurants. Nothing special at all.
It was disappointing overall. We dined here based on all the positive reviews, but last night the food was certainly far from the best. Some dishes were bland with little flavour, others had too much liquid & were drowning. The couple beside us were actually asked if they could leave because their two hour dining time slot had expired - BUT only half their orders had arrived as the kitchen was behind! WTH? They offered to pack up the rest of their dishes for takeout! Overall a disappointing experience & will not return.
We visited Montreal for a long weekend & this was to be our "big dinner" out. We were please to get reservation for a Sunday evening. The staff was quick to get us seated. The staff was very pleasant & it was great to see the chef working closely with the others, providing feedback & plating. The menu was thoroughly & expertly explained. We ended up getting the empanada, mackerel, radicchio salad, & fluke. I had the fallback cocktail which was very nice. My wife ordered the vermouth & olives as it reminded us of a trip to Barcelona. That was fantastic & we ended up ordering another round of these. The empanada was okay, but that was it. I've easily had better at farm markets & home. We must have missed where it said the mackerel was "lightly cured". My wife is not a fan of uncooked food but she choked down what she could. It thought it was okay. It was slightly fishy but well prepared & the sesame bun on which it sat was good. The radicchio salad was excellent & was possibly the best dish of the evening. The dressing was perfect in taste & coverage. The hostess suggested a smaller version of this salad based on what we ordered which was ample & much appreciated. The fluke was also excellent & I would definitely recommend it. The whelks, clams & fish were delicious, as was the pasta it was with. Service was spotty. The empanada came out pretty fast. The mackerel followed shortly after. We then waited for probably 30 minutes. Our salad sat on the counter for almost half of that, & was then served at the same time as the fluke. When we ordered our second round of drinks the bartender was nowhere to be seen. It took 20+ minutes to get two vermouth & olives. We were quite full at the end of meal & skipped dessert. We were just over 2 hours & $160 into the meal & honestly just wanted to get going. We were not rushed in way. Communication would have been ideal during the waits. Overall we weren't that impressed & left a little disappointed given the time & money spent. We're still glad we went but would most definitely find something else on our next visit.
The website menu indicated that there were sweetbreads & that was the dish I wanted & was looking forward to, but the menu on site did not have any. Despite my disapointment, everything else we had on the menu was delicious. The flavours & textures were fantastic. The service impeccable. Thank you!
