Ari, Pablo & Evan truly made the experience while we were visiting from Toronto. Coming back for the food but also the peeps :)
Came in as a walk-in. Was really just looking for a place out of the heat. The service was fantastic, each employee asked if we preferred english or french, & was very personable. The guy behind the bar was most of our interactions, & offered specials before listing them - a great touch. He was excited to share how each menu item was made & made everything sound both delicious & simplified how it so that even I could understand it. Skipped the fancy restaurant terms & just explained what the food was in clear & excited terms! He was super personable, noticed my partner's tattoo, & spoke about his own for a bit. We ordered the montadito, which is essentially 4 pieces of mackerel on two sesame seed buns, with horseradish, & the fish marinated in vinegar. Each bite was juicy & delicious, Even 25 minutes later I can still feel the flavours on my tongue. Definitely an excellent place to check out if you're in the city.
Visiting Montreal for three days, this was the best meals I've had. Finished every plate clean!!
Came here with reservations back in May. We were a few minutes early & our table was ready after only a few minutes of waiting. Parking isn't too difficult in this area but be prepared to drive around a bit if it's a busy night. We got lucky with a spot right outside the front door. The food was excellent. We tried a lot of items off the menu & had a few drinks. The service, though, is what really makes a difference. It was top notch & friendly, not tacky or fake. Would definitely consider coming back here again.
Great little spot in Verdun. The food was delicious & the service had great attention to detail.
Assez inégal, certains plats étaient bons mais certains plats étaient complètement ratés.
Less choice recently & a bit over priced for what it used to be. Still an excellent place to try though & to discover new dishes.
Overall a positive experience, service is professional & attentive. Radicchio Salad & Involtini were great(eventho there were low quality pine nuts on the involtini), the beef cheek with sweetbreads & tomatoes was a big disappointment:there was no salt on the tomatoes, the sweetbreads were under cooked & the beef cheek portion was very small...& that for 60 (!!!!) $,it really pissed me off. It's a bit of a Bobo restaurant, a cool place for people who wants to feel cool. I would suggest to go for a date rather than with friends.
Sophisticated atmosphere w coziness that makes you feel like you are at your local jaunt. We sat at the bar & Antoine provided terrific insight & direction into our dining experience. We started w the knish, the caviar is superb! Followed by the involtini, pasta special & guinea fowl wings...all delicious...& accompanied by great 🍸cocktails...c'est Magnifique!
Delicious & well thought our dishes. I have a gluten allergy (celiac) & the server was attentive to my dietary needs. Cozy atmosphere. Overall a great first impression & would go again!
Came here maybe 2 years ago but decided to post my review. The empanada & the Brussel sprouts were our favourites! I remember the Guinea fowl being a bit dry. Service was superb however. Nothing really blew me away so would probably not come back.
