Review Summary

Reviews describe Beba as a small, intimate Montreal restaurant where inventive fusion flavors drawn from Italian, Spanish and Argentine traditions are creatively executed and rotate with the seasons. The menu focuses on shareable dishes like knish with caviar, mackerel, dates stuffed with foie gras, maitake mushrooms, pasta and guinea fowl, with the signature flan often topping recommendations. The open kitchen, warm atmosphere and attentive service are widely praised, with guests noting a homey feel and a well curated wine list. Reservations are advised due to limited space, and while a few comments call out occasional noise, pacing or value concerns, the overwhelming takeaway is that Beba offers a consistently high quality, memorable dining experience that many would return for again.

Was not sure what to expect from Beba, but had an amazing time.

It is tapas style, where it is recommended to share all the plates, though they do have larger plates that you could order as a main.

We had empanadas, chicken wing terrine, steak ham, salad, japanese white fish, homemade pasta & trout (for 4 peoole). Everything we ate was delicious, I would say the chicken wing terrine was the least impressive, it tasted more like a chicken/mushroom soup terrine, but was still very much delicious. The empanadas were very good, especially the aoli it was served with.

They have an extensive wine list, though we had cocktails. They were all delicious, especially the mocktail.

Our server Evan was delightful, ensuring we didn't order too much or too little & that all plates were brought out in a tasty order.

A great experience & I would definitely go back.
