Decent sandwich, except the bread was definitely not fresh. The person manning the counter called the orders / names out in a very quiet voice & let your sandwich just sit on the counter when you didn't hear them. In my opinion, they did a poor job at this very simple task.
But the sandwich is still good, in spite of the hard/old bread. Worth a visit if you're around, but not worth a dedicated trip.
I loved my experience here. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich & it was delicious. I love the bread they use, it's firm enough to make the sandwich easier to eat, but not too hard. They also used enough sauce, I hate I dry sandwich & this was not that. The atmosphere is great, love the cute retro vibe & they even have merch which is really cool. Thanks for the awesome lunch guys, I'll be back.
Second time at Renzo & still disappointed. The food lacks flavor, I had the Caesar sandwich & the sauce didn't even taste like a Caesar sauce, it was very bland. We clearly asked for no bacon, but after taking a bite I realized there was bacon in it. They did replace the sandwich, but overall it was still a frustrating experience.
Go here if you want an extremely average sandwich to post on your Instagram. Nice decor & service but the sandwich left a lot to be desired. Overall, I'd recommend one of the 10 other delicious sandwich shops in the area (or a bit further north in little Italy).
J'ai commandé une première fois, une deuxième fois, une troisième fois. Jamais déçue. Tous les sandwichs que j'ai essayés étaient excellents. Maintenant j'en ai des cravings..

Bravo à toute la squadra! On ne parle de rien de moins qu'une intervention divine pour vos papilles. Le San Lorenzo (aka Renzo), c'est la nouvelle cathédrale du sandwich à Montréal : Oui c'est de l'art, mais ça se mange.
Nous devons ce miracle à Giovanni-Michele, notre artiste local de renommée internationale, enfin de retour après sa tournée au cinq coins du globe. Cet architecte culinaire revient chargé d'inspiration & d'anecdotes savoureuses.
La légende raconte que lors de son passage au Vatican, tel un maître de la Renaissance, il aurait aspergé le plafond de la chapelle Sixtine d'un aïoli à la truffe... Une fragrance qui, encore aujourd'hui, donne l'eau à la bouche aux nombreux visiteurs qui s'empressent de dévorer un 12 po bien frais & bien garni!

Sandwiches arrived soggy & falling apart. Fried chicken in sandwich nearly non existent. Very bad experience. Will not order again. Waste of money.
J'etais de passage avec des amis à Montréal & nous cherchions un resto que nous n'avions jamais essayé. Renzo est apparu dans nos choix & était à proximité d'où on se trouvait. Excellent sandwich!!! De bons ingrédients frais, pain de belle qualité & le prix relativement abordable pour la quantité. Super découverte!!

Quel bon sandwich on y mange ! On est à des années-lumières du Subway ou d'autres places qui se disent'spécialiste du sandwich'. Ici, le sandwich regagne toutes ses notes de noblesse. Le pain est vraiment incroyable !!! Moelleux à souhait, on dirait qu'il sort du four. J'ai pris le sandwich Renzo classique au poulet. Le meilleur sandwich au poulet que j'ai mangé !!! & que dire de leur INCROYABLE tarte au citron & fromage à la crème... Juste démentiel ! C'est certain que j'y retourne très bientot. En plus, le staff est tellement sweet. Une belle découverte !
Incredible. Great service, & atmosphere. I have tried almost all the sandwiches with the Cubano probably being my top choice. $20 for a sandwich is up there, but they are great to split with someone.
We stopped there by chance & I ordered Philly cheesesteak. Well, I understand that steak is so expensive these days, but that doesn't justify to use the lowest quality of beef to serve your customers, even the marinating tastes weird!
They'd rather remove Philly cheesesteak from the menu or rename the sandwich, or use real steak & higher the price.
However I will give another chance for other sandwiches but definitely not the so called Philly cheesesteak.
tomates & salade, pas trop fraîches sous-marin non assaisonner, j'ai dû insister pour obtenir du sel & du poivre pour mettre sur les tomates, mais il n'y avait que du sel. Je ne comprends pas cette mentalité de ne pas assaisonner les sandwiches. Logano serai aussi bienvenue avec le classique.
