The staff provide attentive, warm service and a thoughtful welcome that includes a juice shooter, with gluten free and vegan options available. Dishes range from decadent twists on classics like the Scotch egg, grilled cheese and banana French toast to lighter, vibrant bowls, all presented beautifully and tasting delicious. The atmosphere feels welcoming and lively, making it a reliable pick for a celebratory breakfast or a casual get together, though lines can form on weekends and a table reservation is helpful to minimize wait.
This is one of the most amazing breakfast that I had in montreal! One of my favourite! Good delicious, good service & great local, the atmosphere is so relaxing while you're enjoying your meal! They have gluten free option & even lactose free! Everything is amazing from sweet to salty! Just sometimes it's not easy to find a reservation right away!
Love Regina café! Beautiful decore ! The menu has a variety of gourmet options . Unlike the usual eggs & beacon with a bowl of fruit . Their pastries are deliciously amazing! The host is also very pleasant along with the rest of the staff . Love love Regina café! Thank you for making my breakfast/brunch an amazing one every time ;)
service was ok. nothing out of this world. food was good but coffee not included with breakfast price which i find ridiculous. no choice of bread. one type only....it was nice but went more for the deco

I have been traveling around the world & tried a lot of different breakfast restaurants & I can say that Régine Café is in my best breakfast restaurants I tried!
WONDERFUL! I simply have no other words. Wonderful people, wonderful food, wonderful presentation, delicious coffee. Go here if you want an amazing breakfast!
So many delicious things on the menu & you can't go wrong! Different than most breakfast places & a great opportunity to be a bit adventurous with your choices. This is one of those places that I'm always looking forward to go to & that I'm excited when I can secure a reservation!
The best breakfast I've ever had in Canada. A whole lot of vegetarian options available here. An authentic french cuisine could be seen here. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to go there with friends or family.
PS: If it's a weekday please reserve a table in advance. If it's a weekend goodluck standing in the wait line.

But I am deliberately choosing to focus this review is about the defining characteristic that makes Regine Cafe the absolute best place in all of Montreal.
You can tell Regine put's just as much value into their service, as they do their mind-blowing & world-class food!

Often the popular Brunch spots in Montreal are often overflowing with people waiting to get in their fix of breakfast delights.
Customers who CAN'T WAIT to give their business to a place they read about on the internet, heard from a friend or saw the line in the street.
I've ate at nearly all of them & I can tell you rhe difference between being good, & being the best is the way in which a restaurant will brave that wave of eager consumers & give them not only what they want, but also make their experience personalized.
The front of house greeted me & said goodbye while remembering my name, & our lovely server Lea was insanely patient with us while helping us decide which of the amazing meals to get! The craziest part? It was her first day! You could of had me fooled she was working here for 5 years :)
They started the meal with freshly squeezed juice & everyone in the whole place was smiling & having fun while working. I saw a lot of parallels going on here to the type of treatment you would get at a restaurant like Joe Beef.
It honestly makes the food taste better.
We had the Gaufre & Canard, Champi & Gros Jambon & all left wanting to do it all over again & trade dishes.
You honestly can't eat your way through this Menu in one sitting, it will take multiple visits! So stop reading this & go... Or I will take your spot!

Amazing service - unlike big chain breakfast spots, the staff here was polite & attentive. The menu was unique & refined unlike other restaurants that try to attract you with a mash of food slathered in Nutella. I would go back again!
Quality ingredients which are nicely presented makes for a mouth watering dish. & the service which is friendly & pays attention to the details completes the experience of what any breakfast or brunch place in the city should aspire to. A definite must!
