I got the Champi, which has raclette cheese toast, poached eggs, sautéed mushroom with cream & sage, handmade potatoes, & red pepper coulis! The toast was soft enough to cut through which made the experience so much more pleasant! I loved the cheesey bread combined with the pepper coulis. I feel like there could have been less mushrooms & more arugula, but it was all still so delicious.

The portion of the bread, cheese, & eggs was perfect & not too filling.

As for the spicy hot chocolate, I ordered this later so it came out after I had finished my breakfast/brunch - a wonderful dessert! Came with a large toasted marshmallow (delicious) & the hot chocolate was just the perfect temperature. The spice wasn't too strong, so it tasted not too different from a regular hot chocolate to me. Overall a pleasant & welcoming final breakfast during my Montréal trip!

Régine Café is an amazing brunch spot. The food was delicious with big portions, & the place itself has a beautiful, cozy atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, & Mr. Max was especially helpful & informative. I really enjoyed my visit & would definitely come back.

What a treat! Cafe Régine, the must for breakfast/brunch. Everything is just delightful! This morning, chocolat aux épices & my fav coming up: the grilled cheese! Une pause'prendre soin de soi'. Mais une visite s'impose si vous visitez Montréal. Ce matin: découverte du bol de chocolat aux Épices. & mon préféré: le grilled cheese.

I'm amazed this place is so well-rated & so hyped.
We fell for the good rating & the pretty photos, but it was an overall below-average experience.
The service was friendly enough, the decor/vibe was cool. However the food was just sub-par. It was bland, had no flavour & it was painful to pay the bill on a meal we did not in any way enjoy. It was tempting to ask for a discount it was so bad.
I wished we had not wasted our time.
One of the most disappointing brunches I think I've ever had.
Should have read the bad reviews before we went.
My recommendation is don't waste your time.

After eating here, I understand why there is a line with a waiting time of 20 mins. I can say this is the best brunch I have ever eaten. The service was excellent, the food was PERFECT! Madam Ágata was such a great server & made us all feel super comfortable. The ambience was so nice & beautiful.

Chez Régine est une excellente adresse pour un brunch dans une ambiance chaleureuse & conviviale. Le restaurant offre un environnement où il est facile de discuter sans avoir à élever la voix, ce qui rend l'expérience particulièrement agréable.

Nous avons choisi le plateau à trois étages, pour séparer a deux. Composé d'un assortiment de viennoiseries & de fruits, accompagné de plusieurs garnitures : caramel, compote de pommes, chocolat fondu, mascarpone, confiture de fraises & un délicieux beurre d'arachide maison. L'ensemble était généreux, varié & parfait pour partager. Chaque accompagnement apportait une touche différente, permettant de varier les saveurs tout au long du repas.

J'ai également commandé un chocolat chaud. Il était préparé avec du chocolat noir, ce qui est davantage une question de goût personnel. Étant moins amateur de chocolat noir, c'est le seul élément qui m'a un peu moins plu.

Le service a été impeccable du début à la fin. L'accueil était particulièrement chaleureux &, grâce à notre réservation, nous avons été installés en une quinzaine de minutes. Je recommande d'ailleurs de réserver à l'avance, surtout si vous prévoyez y aller pendant les heures les plus achalandées.

Les prix m'ont semblé raisonnables pour la qualité des produits, les portions & l'expérience offerte. Au final, c'est une adresse que je recommande volontiers pour un brunch gourmand dans une ambiance agréable.

Régine, c'est notre resto préféré! Pas de problème à faire la file 30-40 minutes, si c'est pour vivre un moment extraordinaire avec un service chaleureux & une bouffe excellente. Meilleur brunch en ville!
