First off the service is very warm, our server explained the menu very thoroughly:)
I took the red spicy miso & my partner took the red dragon, both ramen were rich in flavour & the noodles were perfectly chewy, honestly felt like a breath of fresh air finally trying some good ramen in the area, I would say its one of the best restaurants on Wellington!! Definitely worth it & we will be coming backView more

I've recently visited Isshin Ramen Verdun & it was a truly outstanding experience from start to finish. The ramen broth was rich, comforting, & perfectly seasoned. The noodles had a great chew & texture, & the toppings-especially the tender chashu & the runny soft?boiled egg-were fresh & flavorful.
The service was warm & attentive, & the atmosphere was cozy yet modern. They were able to handle a full house efficiently, & the wait time was reasonable even during a busy dinner rush. Portion sizes are generous, & the price is well worth it.
Five stars for cleanliness, friendly staff, & a menu with great variety-including vegetarian options. I'm already planning my next visit & recommend this place to ramen lovers in the Verdun area.View more

I have been a regular at this location of Ramen Isshin on Wellington street for about a year now & all I could tell you is that they are the best ramen place I have tried in Montreal. Their ramen is always flavorful & fresh. As an Asian who grew up in Asia, I could tell that everything is homemade with my first bite of the noodles & sip of the soup. They are also always launching a new article to make the experience more interesting to their customers. My latest best is their MATCHA KAKIGORI (A SHAVED ICE OR A BINGSU). OH MY GOD, it's really refreshing & addictive. It's a must try, especially during the hot days of summer. You won't regret it. The server Betul went above & beyond to accommodate my order by making a new kakigori base on the spot when they ran out of it that day. Very happy to have a good ramen chain in my neighborhood.
Efficient service, we got our orders in & served promptly.
I tried the tan tan, my friend the extra spicy ramen. Both had a good amount of spicyness, & the broth was tasty. Noodles were good, but you could tell they weren't made in-house, but few places in town can boast this.
Prices are typical, about 20$ a bowl.
Atmosphere is fine, we arrived early so it wasn't too crowded.

I absolutely loved this place. The vibe was great, the choice of music definitely added to the atmosphere & was most enjoyable. Onto the essence of a good restaurant, the food. It was incredible! I had the takoyaki & vegetarian shoyu noodles, each was packed with a rich flavor & filling portion. I'd say the price to quality ratio was most agreeable, & the customer service received by the waitress was very good, she was kind & explained the menu in a very clear way. There was also a man in the staff with a very cool legen of Zelda korok tattoo (from windwaker) which was a plus lol. All in all a great restaurant for Japanese food.View more

Tried a very interesting type of ramen - cross bridge ramen, well I named it because it looked like cross bridge noodles in the Chinese version. I liked the food & service there with only one comment - it'd be great if you could accommodate clients' needs like less sodium, less oil. They couldn't because they said the broths were premade.View more

Really decent shoyu ramen. I found the broth to be a bit less flavourful than I prefer, & the chashu pork was on the thin end of the spectrum. Noodles were on point. The egg's texture was good but it tasted a bit sweet for some reason. I'll probably return to try more of their menu.View more

Very satisfied with the overall dine-in experience we had at Ramen Isshin Verdun! We ordered the Pork Gyoza & Korokke. Both plates had the right amount of crunch, the flavor was good & the pork in the gyoza was juicy. As for ramen we ordered the Red Dragon & the Spicy Shio with White Sesame. The broths were packed with flavor & really rich. The ramen noodles were perfectly chewy & the amount was good for the quantity of broth. The Red Dragon is really for the spicy lovers, it hits the right spot for a good spicy craving! For the price (approx. 18-22$/bowl) the portions are generous! Service is fast & good. The people that work there are kind & they patiently answered our questions. We will definitely come back to taste more from the menu :)View more
