Super delicious ramen! I got the spiciest ramen they had to offer (Red Dragon) & it did not disappoint. The broth was rich, flavourful & had the perfect amount of spice. The chashu was tender & the marinated egg was super yummy. Service was friendly & efficient, & the atmosphere was clean & relaxed. Great spot for a satisfying bowl! First off the service is very warm, our server explained the menu very thoroughly:)
I took the red spicy miso & my partner took the red dragon, both ramen were rich in flavour & the noodles were perfectly chewy, honestly felt like a breath of fresh air finally trying some good ramen in the area, I would say its one of the best restaurants on Wellington!! Definitely worth it & we will be coming backView more

I've recently visited Isshin Ramen Verdun & it was a truly outstanding experience from start to finish. The ramen broth was rich, comforting, & perfectly seasoned. The noodles had a great chew & texture, & the toppings-especially the tender chashu & the runny soft?boiled egg-were fresh & flavorful.
The service was warm & attentive, & the atmosphere was cozy yet modern. They were able to handle a full house efficiently, & the wait time was reasonable even during a busy dinner rush. Portion sizes are generous, & the price is well worth it.
Five stars for cleanliness, friendly staff, & a menu with great variety-including vegetarian options. I'm already planning my next visit & recommend this place to ramen lovers in the Verdun area.View more

Very cute very busy small ramen place in Verdun. Most nights you will have to queue to be able to get a table. The food is really good. Very rich broth full with flavor but can be more generous when it comes to the protein portion. 2 pieces of sliced porc was not enough for my big appetite. I ordered the red dragon miso ramen & the garlic sesame veggie ramen. The chicken karaage was also really good but took a long time to come which made our soups take more time as well.View more

I absolutely loved this place. The vibe was great, the choice of music definitely added to the atmosphere & was most enjoyable. Onto the essence of a good restaurant, the food. It was incredible! I had the takoyaki & vegetarian shoyu noodles, each was packed with a rich flavor & filling portion. I'd say the price to quality ratio was most agreeable, & the customer service received by the waitress was very good, she was kind & explained the menu in a very clear way. There was also a man in the staff with a very cool legen of Zelda korok tattoo (from windwaker) which was a plus lol. All in all a great restaurant for Japanese food.View more

I will put side of the taste, I feel little uncomfortable with how they working. there was only me as a customer at the inside & staff taking break time sit in the counter table & talking. It's okay to have a conversation but talking about unrelated things little bit loudly. never checked the glass of water, that mean not taking care of the customer in restaurant industry. it's okay to have fun in work but need to be more careful when they are at the front house where customer can see them. Tukemen soup was less rich than the usual taste that I had beforeView more

Very satisfied with the overall dine-in experience we had at Ramen Isshin Verdun! We ordered the Pork Gyoza & Korokke. Both plates had the right amount of crunch, the flavor was good & the pork in the gyoza was juicy. As for ramen we ordered the Red Dragon & the Spicy Shio with White Sesame. The broths were packed with flavor & really rich. The ramen noodles were perfectly chewy & the amount was good for the quantity of broth. The Red Dragon is really for the spicy lovers, it hits the right spot for a good spicy craving! For the price (approx. 18-22$/bowl) the portions are generous! Service is fast & good. The people that work there are kind & they patiently answered our questions. We will definitely come back to taste more from the menu :)View more

Really tasty ramen! Such a rich bouillon. I went there with my family, & the welcome was great! They have a big variety of drinks & meals. We ordered the seafood pancake, it was delicious. & the miso ramen with the egg in extra you can't forget. The ramen are very well done. The eggs are something different. They are really really good, with the spicy miso soupe, it was very great. & you can't forget as well about the delicious mochi. The staff is nice, present to answer any questions you have. We felt very welcomed there! Will go back for sure!View more
