I got the spiciest ramen they had to offer (Red Dragon) & it did not disappoint. The broth was rich, flavourful & had the perfect amount of spice. The chashu was tender & the marinated egg was super yummy. Service was friendly & efficient, & the atmosphere was clean & relaxed. Great spot for a satisfying bowl! I will definitely be coming back.View more
Very happy to have a good ramen chain in my neighborhood.
Efficient service, we got our orders in & served promptly.
I tried the tan tan, my friend the extra spicy ramen. Both had a good amount of spicyness, & the broth was tasty. Noodles were good, but you could tell they weren't made in-house, but few places in town can boast this.
Prices are typical, about 20$ a bowl.
Atmosphere is fine, we arrived early so it wasn't too crowded.
Will definitely return.View more
Amazing spicy ramen bowl & mango dessert. The ramen bowls are filling enough so in my opinion ordering an appetizer was more than we needed. In this case we were two people & we both agreed the soups would suffice. Excellent job & great service too.View more
I did a delivery with Ubereats as I'm in a hotel for work. This establishment did not include the cutlery I added to the delivery. I would recommend this establishment open up their comment section when ordering so I could remind them cutlery is kinda important for Ramen. Also it would be rad just to ask for things on the side & not inside the ramen bowl.View more
The food is alright, what I mean is that it is more or less on par with the rest of ramen restaurants out there but is grossly overpriced... Off the bat, their soup is roughly $5 (~20%) more than Kinton & other competitors out there & they gave you 2 slices of pork that's PAPER THIN. The broth is not particularly impactful/memorable either, is average. I tried Isshin a couple years ago in Ottawa & it was good & I gave it a 5 stars, but it wasn't $22/bowl with barely any ingredients in there, it was literally 2 thin slices, a bit of ground pork & some bean sprouts, not even a sheet of seaweed. For context, at the time of typing this, you can get a spicy ramen combo with gyoza & coke at Kinton for the same price. The "seafood" pancake is also disappointing, mushy & tiny, barely any seafood in there, very salty too. Overall, in terms of taste it is OK, in terms of value I won't be coming back.View more

Very satisfied with the overall dine-in experience we had at Ramen Isshin Verdun! We ordered the Pork Gyoza & Korokke. Both plates had the right amount of crunch, the flavor was good & the pork in the gyoza was juicy. As for ramen we ordered the Red Dragon & the Spicy Shio with White Sesame. The broths were packed with flavor & really rich. The ramen noodles were perfectly chewy & the amount was good for the quantity of broth. The Red Dragon is really for the spicy lovers, it hits the right spot for a good spicy craving! For the price (approx. 18-22$/bowl) the portions are generous! Service is fast & good. The people that work there are kind & they patiently answered our questions. We will definitely come back to taste more from the menu :)View more
