One of the best pubjabi food i have had in canada in last 11 years.If you are from Ontario & ever traveling to Montrel please please its a must visit.
The hospitality is amazing & the girl anmol deep kaur took special care of us.Prices are cheap & quality is top level.
I wish i could give any star bigger than 5, this js what this place deserves

I visited Punjab Canteen at the liege & loved the experience. The food was amazing & the server was excellent.She was so sweet ,welcoming & always took orders with a smile,making us feel comfortable. The food quality was great & i would definitely return for the same taste & service.

Wonderful service Delicious food We ordered Amritsari Kulcha (2 in one plate) The size was like regular Nan. Normally the Amritsari are bigger The taste was too good . Served with chola salad pickle & green chutney The next item we called was Saag with Tawa roti Quality was good had to take away home The tawa roti after a while became dry & hard, Although when consumed instantly it can be saved from drying Also had their delicious Ras Malai ( 2pcs in one place )

The food is very tasty, parathas are delicious. I would request owner to serve butter to maintain authenticity of the dishes. Margarine is not butter :) You have good taste among other restaurants, you shouldn't be short sighted. Pls choose quality ingredients & you will be surprised by your customer's rewards for it. Looking forward to butter with paranthas next time :)

Récemment j'suis tombé sur ce resto punjabi franchement super ! l'hygiène y est impeccable, les ingrédients frais à souhait pis l'ambiance tellement détendue. En plus c'est pas trop cher du tout pour la qualité, l'équipe au top, souriante pis pro. Un régal ces saveurs authentiques, j'vous l'recommande chaudement si vous cherchez d'la vraie bouffe indienne. Recently I came across this really great Punjabi restaurant! The hygiene is impeccable, the ingredients are as fresh as you want & the atmosphere is so relaxed. Plus it's not too expensive at all for the quality, the team is great, smiling & professional. These authentic flavors are a treat, I highly recommend it if you're looking for real Indian food.

Quality of the food has deteriorated a lot. Had Amritsari kulcha the flavour & taste of chickpeas or chole were not as it should be for a kulcha. Were ordinary & way too spicy. This was our only go to place for Amritsari kulche, but I don't think I am going to order again.

Absolutely delicious!! It's one of my favou Spots in the city. I like to rate with my QQP scale: quality, quantity, price! Love great to go with a bunch of pals & get different dishes, it's hard to choose cause it's so yummy! The chana somosa is glorious! Good to split for 2.

This is by far my favourite Indian food in the city. I've tried many restaurants downtown, in the West Island, ParkEx. They have great options on the menu & the quality is a notch above all others. The meat is well cleaned, the sauces rich but not oily, the vegetables are fresh.

We had a great experience at Punjab Canteen!! We went there for 2 days in a row, food quality was good, you must try their Amritsari kulcha & Veg/nonveg thali, it was really good, don’t forget to try Aloo gobhi from Thali, it was delicious!! Chole Bhature was okay but not that good !! Overall we had a good time at the Punjab canteen!!
