Al Rayan Poissonnerie & Restaurant offers casual dining with a Middle Eastern feeling. Enjoy a deliciously fresh meal; nothing at our restaurant is pre-made. Enjoy our friendly service while chefs prepare the fresh seafood you select from the wide selection of fresh fish and shellfish lining the bar. The service is prompt and convivial. Head to the seafood bar to handpick your dinner. A wide selection of Shrimps, calamari, whole fish or shellfish are offered by the kilo, and you only need to decide how you would like them prepared: grilled, sautéed, or fried.
There are several gourmet sauces to choose from, as well as traditional ones like tahini and baba ghanoush.

Vraiment ordinaire comme endroit. Tu dois aller commander ton poisson au comptoir & ils viennent te le servir après. Drôle de concept. C'est pas super propre en plus comme endroit. Ils mettent les poissons crus sur des cabarets qu'ils rincent à l'eau sans les laver entre les clients, ils mettent les tickets de caisse directement sur le poisson cru pour l'envoyer à la cuisine... Les poissoniers sont bêtes en plus. Quand les serveuses viennent te servir, elles ne savent pas trop quoi est quoi... Dernière fois pour moi. & faire payer au poids, non merci ! & by the way, ne prenez pas le "supposé" fish & chips... cest aucunement de la panure, le poisson est juste grillé. Décevant.

The Good: - The seasoning on their fish is delicious - Fried calamari & the sautéed garlic shrimps are an absolute recommendation - You choose your seafood from the display fridge then they weigh it & you choose the method of cooking (Grilled or fried) The Not So Good: - Salmon was overcooked - Service was slow yet when they bring dishes they bring them all together even when there is no space on the table - Overpriced

This place is great! They have a good selection of sea food. We tried the Calamari & the fish called Saint-Pierre. Both were fresh & delicious.

All good, some fishes were with a little extra oil but doesn't usually happen since I've been a customer of Rayan for 15 years

We enjoyed the most delicious grilled fishes: We had Striped Bass & Sea Bass, as well as delicious grilled vegetables! The portion of the grilled vegetables was huge. The staff were extremely friendly & attentive. For my husband who usually doesn't like to deal with the bones in fishes, he exclaimed that these were the BEST fishes he's ever eaten!

Great seafood selection & super fresh. This is probably one of the best Rayans I've been to. I had scallops, fish, octopus, shrimp & calamari with rice & salad. Price was very reasonable. Highly recommended

The food is great, but the service was long & really slow. The fish station guys didn't seem to care too much about speed. Paying at the cash seemed painful for the cashier to execute & the manager seemed a bit too controlling over everything. To sum up, I prefer the CDN franchise as they are more welcoming & the atmosphere is more welcoming.
