The menu features a broad range of steaks, seafood and pasta with generous portions and strong value, and guests consistently praise the tenderness and flavor of the meat, the thoughtful service, and the overall energy of the room. La bouffe est bonne, je n'ai rien à dire mais pour les quantités ils sont vraiment radin là-dessus, je dois régulièrement payer des extras pour avoir un plat correct à l'heure de midi. Ça dépend qui me sert.
Went here for a birthday dinner & it delivered. The concept alone is worth mentioning - it's a butcher & a restaurant in one, which you don't really come across much in Montreal, & it shows in the quality of what ends up on the plate.
Had the mushroom risotto with foie gras & it was genuinely one of those dishes you keep thinking about after - deep, earthy, the foie gras just melted into the whole thing. Glass of red alongside it & I was pretty much done for in the best way.
Relaxed room, service that didn't make you feel rushed. Good spot for a birthday or any night you actually want to eat well.
Seriously , best place in mtl , not a single bad thing about it , food is insane it like a rainbow in ur tounge , the atmospher is a cool vibe i was there for almost 4 hours n i barely wanted to leave but the wine gave me no choice , lol , shoutout to the whole staff lovely people id go drinking with those boys ! The man of the hour without a doubt , Don Vincenzo i made a good friend that day the best waiter in the world , big smile , lots of charm & he didnt leave me hanging , best of the best , theres nothing else to say i will be back plenty more time , god forbid !!!
Went yesterday for Easter lunch,
It was very good except for one plate which was oven bake meat, it was very tender but very tasteless, needed seasoning.
Since this place get very nosy went it full, they should not put Italian music which it was way to load, we could not hear each other talking anymore. You should put it very low just for background only or not at all when the restaurant is full.
Meilleur resto Italien'Steakhouse' !
The tomahawk steak was perfectly cooked. Rib steak came out rare so we asked to cooked it longer but then the steak was medium, medium rare & also some parts were rare. The lamb was medium instead of medium rare. The salmon tartare was good but the beef tartare didn't taste as fresh. The calamari is very good. The worse part is that you have to pay for flat water, you're not allowed to have tap water. Also their menu is on the walls & with the bad lighting, you can't see the menu. For the price point, i expected better & especially for a place known for their fresh cuts of meat, they should know how to cook it more consistently! Here's some photos of the menu so you guys dont have to struggle like us.
