Our principle is simple: à la carte seasonal dishes that change daily according to the freshest cuts available at our butcher shop. Food was OK. Steak & risotto were fine, roasted potatoes were inedible… waiter laughed at that. My issue is with being charged for water. Upon being seated, waiter asks'bubbly or flat' with zero notice that'flat' is a $7 bottle of water. Upon complaining, waiter laughs & says'bah, you pay for water everywhere now' which is an utterly ridiculous thing ti say. Not only is the practice of charging for run of the mill water without warning customers disingenuous, the waiter's response was laughable. WORD TO THE WISE so that people go in knowing, since the restaurant won't warn you about it.

The tomahawk steak was perfectly cooked. Rib steak came out rare so we asked to cooked it longer but then the steak was medium, medium rare & also some parts were rare. The lamb was medium instead of medium rare. The salmon tartare was good but the beef tartare didn't taste as fresh. The calamari is very good. The worse part is that you have to pay for flat water, you're not allowed to have tap water. Also their menu is on the walls & with the bad lighting, you can't see the menu. For the price point, i expected better & especially for a place known for their fresh cuts of meat, they should know how to cook it more consistently! Here's some photos of the menu so you guys dont have to struggle like us.

My oh my! This place is perfect. If you're looking for reasonably priced, delicious steak this is the place. It's not cheap, it's not over priced, & it's extremely delicious. Service is wonderful. The sides are fantastic as well, roasted potatoes, peppers, broccoli. Probably the best steak I've had in the area.

One of my favorite restaurants in the east of Montreal.

All menu options are fresh, tasty & of great quality!

My usual go-to is the fiorentina steak for 2, the linguine frutti di mare are loaded with seafood & tartare options are so good…

+ BRING YOUR OWN WINE!
