Olynicks Fish Market and Bistro is a local family business in the heart of the Saint-Sauveur village, located in the Laurentians.

Très beau restaurant. Décor parfait. Cuisine & toilettes impeccables. Nourriture sans plus (entree de tomates fêta mal présentée sans goût) mon mari a pris assiette à 89$ filet mignon ok ( la serveuse lui a imposé la cuisson! & queue homard petite & sèche) très dispendieux pour qualité/quantité. Le service était courtois mais manquant. Nous avons dû nous servir notre vin tout le long du souper. Le café imbuvable. Ce restaurant n'en vaut pas le coût. Ailleurs pour le même prix beaucoup mieux!

Quaint restaurant in a small but busy area of Montreal- we dined here expecting a dinner but we had an experience. To food. The food! We were a group of 5 & shared the menu highlights. Oysters were fresh & tasted of the ocean- perfect. Crispy frites & flaky, moist cod fish was fantastic. Octopus that was so perfectly cooked, I was impressed as this is a tough dish to perfect. We also shared the seafood platter which was a stand out, the true Caesar salad, & crispy calamari. A beautiful lemon dessert rounded out the night. I wouldn't recommend passing this place up.
Nice ambiance with a lovely terrace. Friendly service without feeling rushed. Beautiful & tasty food with a descent wine menu. Great place for fresh seafood with platters for sharing. Expect to pay around 100$/pers including a couple of bottles of wine & appetizers.
Delicious food, but service needs improvement
We had dinner at Restaurant Olynicks & the food was truly excellent. The Escargots gratinés are a must-rich, flavorful, & perfectly prepared. The $1 oysters were fresh & delicious. The Assiette de pieuvre grillée was ideal for sharing if we had known in advance, we would have split it!
Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. We waited 25-30 minutes before our server greeted us, & the oysters were brought out at the same time as our entrées. Then we waited another 35-45 minutes for our main courses. This seemed like poor coordination from the server-the oysters should have been served first, followed by the entrées & then the mains.
The kitchen did a fantastic job; the issue was with how the meal was paced by the server. We'd definitely return for the food, but we hope for a smoother service experience next time.

Ce fut une très belle experience, à partir de mon service avec Morgane, qui fut excellent, mais que dire de la nourriture juste wow je recommande cet endroit sans hésitation, nous allons y retourner !
Produit frais, belle carte, présentation impeccable, goût des aliments exceptionnellement bon. Seul bémol, assez dispendieux, par contre, vraiment gastronomique. (Parfait pour une occasion spéciale)

Rarement eux un bon service de ce genre ici dans Les Laurentides! Je recommande ce restaurant pour ceux & celles qui aimes bien manger « fruit de mer » ! Maintenant c'est l'un de mes restaurant préférée !
