Went there for lunch yesterday around 11h45 for lunch. Place was full but there was no waiting. Waitress 5/5. Ticket time a little long but worth it.
My husband had fried chicken & eggs. I had some kind of hamburger with bacon tomato mayo with yellow sweet buns. It was delicious. Just can't remember the name. Smashed potatoes, different but tasty.
Things to fine tune: learn how to present the food. When it arrived, our plates looked unattractive & unappealing.
Would def go back.
The place needs an overall lift, it looks neglected.
Food & service 5 ⭐?
Also, not wheelchair friendly/access or bathroom.
Lots of parking
UPDATE AUG 2026
Went there today
Ticket time is still horrendous.
They changed the whole menu
So no more cheeseburgers & most of the lunch items have been removed
Mostly breakfast place
Will not return for sure. If I want a breakfast place I'll go to Cora's
The perfect renewal of an older institution. Food is delicious! Clearly the person who designed the menu is a pro & the kitchen staff know what they are doing with their consistent execution. Old school vibes with a no bs menu items that should have something for everyone.
One of the best diners I've tried in Montreal. What I loved most was how low-key & unpretentious it felt. The service was genuinely warm, with that classic North American hospitality, the portions were generous, & the food was delicious. Overall, a fantastic experience, & we will be back for sure!

June 21st,2026 we went to Deli for Sunday Brunch we arrived at 10:30, we had to wait at our table for 1:15 hour , there was not enough employee , one who approached to be the owner or manager was serving as cashier, dish washer, & waiter, we had with us two of my grand children 2&4 yrs old , just assume how pleasant time we had in 1:30 hr waiting!!!!!!
First the discovering the deli & it was phenomenal! Cute little diner, they seemed a bit busy the day I went so wait times was a little long but staff was pleasant & helpful. Food was delicious! Would recommend to anyone , I'll definitely be going back.
Absolutely delightful & memorable brunch experience at Pointe Claire Deli! The joint is cozy, well lit & simply a feel-good spot. We got the raspberry tiramisu mascarpone pancake, the fried chicken & hot cakes plate ( comes with green onion cheesy pancakes & some delicious spicy maple sauce ), a side of bacon & the mother clucker brioche bun sandwich. Both coffee-cocktails were delicious. Everything was so good & flavourful ! Portions were super generous & every dish had a lovely presentation. Our server, Sara, was kind & friendly, a big ray of sunshine ! She's killing it :) Cannot wait to come back & try more of their super extensive menu.
I'm disappointed to leave this review as the Pointe-Claire Deli is one of the only places in Valois to go for a sit down meal. However, as a new mom, the no stroller rule is rough. I understand that it's a tight fit, but it makes it hard to go there with a baby, & I think the owners intended for that. It's also not breastfeeding friendly as the booths are too small. The table is too close to the body. Therefore, it's also not accessible to people in bigger bodies. Finally, there is no change table option in either of the bathrooms. I do like the food very much & the relaxed vibe. The servers have always been attentive. But I just feel it's not mom/ family friendly.
