Delicious food!
The Pizza tasted just like they do in Italy, the tomato sauce tasted fresh & not acidic & the toppings were generous.
The Tiramisu was pure heaven & the Espresso THE best!
The ambiance was cozy & friendly, I couldn't ask for more.
For me, it's one of the BEST restaurants I've been to that I can actually say, I felt at home, just as if I were eating in my own Mamma's kitchen!!!!!
I will definitely be returning & highly recommend this beautiful restaurant!

Aviz revisiteé .qq années plus tard ..la pizza buffalla n'a plus rien avoir ...la pâte tellement mince j'ose dire qu'une pita est vraiment epaisse comparativement à la pâte de cette pizza .. beaucoup de sauce tomate très acide..les tranches de fromage Buffalo vraiment fines & l'abondance de l'ail qui gachait tout les saveurs . Auc7n equilibre ! Très déçue ..
To be honest the food was just OK. I had penne al forgot & the sauce was just OK. My wife had the pizza & the crust was amazing. The finely diced topping made it look like a frozen pizza. For service, the pizza came on a plate that was smaller then the pizza so the servers fingers were under the pizza to gold it. The overall cleanliness of the way things were handled was not great. So as I said, it was OK, but not worthy of the reputation they are given in the media.
Le restaurant est charmant au premier coup d'oeil : petit, coquet & au décor rustique qui donne envie de s'installer. Malheureusement, l'expérience s'est rapidement gâtée. Nous avons attendu plus de 20 minutes avant qu'un serveur vienne simplement nous voir, ce qui a donné un départ déjà pénible.
Côté assiette, la déception s'est confirmée. Pour un restaurant italien, la qualité n'était vraiment pas au rendez-vous. Les tomates semblaient sorties directement du frigo : dures, froides & sans saveur. Les pâtes aux tomates rappelaient tristement une sauce en conserve type Boyardi. Quant aux pâtes à la pancetta, elles étaient servies avec de simples tranches de bacon bouilli, loin de ce qu'on s'attend à retrouver dans une authentique cuisine italienne.
En résumé, derrière une belle façade se cache une expérience culinaire médiocre. Encore une adresse qui aurait pu être une perle, mais qui se perd dans un contexte économique difficile où la qualité passe trop souvent à la trappe.

This place never disappoints! The food is absolutely delicious. They're well-known for their pizza & pasta, & we tried the rapini sausage pizza & the tortellini alla Romana with prosciutto, rosé sauce, & mushrooms-both were incredible. We went for lunch & it came to about $60 for the two of us, which felt totally worth it.
As an Italian, I'm very picky about eating pasta at restaurants, but this place is the best. It feels like home-warm, welcoming, & authentic. The staff is super friendly & professional. I 100% recommend it!
Serveur qui roule les yeux quand nous sert & qui est vraiment raide. Les pizzas sont bonnes, mais aucune opportunité de changer le fromage pour du sans lactose. Les pennes sauce à viande n'ont pas de viande ou presque. J'aurais pu faire mieux chez moi. Belle ambiance festive avec les écrans & tous les fans des Canadiens. Beaucoup d'enfants & de familles sur place.
If I remember rightly, the pasta used to be homemade. I was very disappointed when I learned that the pasta was just ordinary dry pasta. The sauces, however, we delicious. In the future, if I want to eat pasta, I'll make it myself the way my nonna made it or I'll go to a restaurant where I know the pasta tastes like fatta in casa.
There's always a line here so i decided to go try it. we went on a saturday afternoon & thank god there was no line. Garlic knots were so oily that it felt like a sponge soaked in oil biting into it. Fettuccine alfredo seemed like it was reheated frozen pasta & completely tasted like béchamel sauce. Pizza was okay, but not the greatest i've had in the city. Totally understand that it has a rep for being family ran, & the environment was nice, however, the food totally missed. Would not return again.
Family & friendly environment. Noisy environment caused by people talking. No background music. The pizza is really good, maybe a little overdone with the house tomato sauce. You can only change one item per pizza. If it could be more personalized, it would be perfect! Many people bring their own wine. The pizza is the size of an individual plate. Reserving a table might be a good idea to avoid the 30-minute wait.
Nous avons été avec notre fils. Donc 3 repas différents. Ses boulettes en entrée furent délicieuses mais mais l'entrée de Boconcini goûtait fade. Selon moi, manque d'assaisonnement . & la salade du chef, était passable pour un resto typique italien. Fettucini sauce viande, super. Gnocchi florentine, bon. Cependant leur pizza aux aubergine fut délicieuse . Très bonne carte des desserts & bon café. Pourquoi 3 au lieu de 4 , car c'est un resto typique italien & il nous a déçu quand même. Merci
A long standing Italian restaurant in the little Italy of Montreal. It's casual, great to be on the sidewalk with an attentive server. The pizza looks great & to the taste. The sauce & colour of the lasagna is a bit off my palette.
La pizza est succulente avec sa sauce tomate & sa pâte! Le cannoli fait maison est extrêmement savoureux. Il m'a transporté dans des expériences gustatives incroyables!
La terrassse est chouette & les serveurs super mais j'ai été très déçue de la pizza & mon copain aussi de la sienne. Ce n'est pas une vraie pâte à pizza. La sauce était sèche & sans intérêt. Ça faisait fast food... Ce n'est pas du tout une vraie pizza napolitaine ou italienne. Grande déception.
I used to love this place-it was my go-to spot in town. But something's changed. The last pizza I had there just wasn't the same. The cheese was soggy, there was hardly any sauce, & the crust was almost nonexistent. It was a big letdown. Sadly, I don't think I'll be going back.

Vendredi 7octobre 23 Assis sur la terrasse en peu de temps, bravo. Service très bon & cordial. Avons été surpris que la pizza n'était plus comme avant, elle était mince. Bien meilleur avant. Les pennes al forno décevant car le fromage était sous la sauce alors n'était pas gratiné. Les portions ont changées aussi plus petites avec les mêmes prix. C'était qu'à d même bon mais pas extra.
I visited this pizzeria today at around 3Pm. I ordered a Margherita, the pizza was ready in about 12 minutes.
I have to first mention the crust, it had the perfect texture with beautiful leopard spotting, a good crunchy underbite & a nice distinguish scent that you get from wood oven. The sauce, you could tell that this sauce was made with San Marzano tomatoes, I dont claim to know it, I havent asked the owner thats just what I think. I think that because the sweetness of the sauce matched perfectly with the cheese.
The cheese was covered with more sauce, I wasnt sure why they did this but it turned out to be super great. I would go eat there again for sure. I recommend to anyone looking for a pizza made with quality ingredients over the quantity. Cant wait to go back!
The place is nice. The food is just ok. Got the lasagna & a chef pizza. The lasagna was good except for the ton of sauce they put on top. The pizza dough was overcooked. For the price there are better alternatives around.
