Probably the worst Italian food I've had in Montreal, it's a tourist trap, the pizza is as thing as pita bread, not even close to a real napoletana pizza
En plus de 30 ans ( comme enfant , jeune adulte & désormais avec ma famille & mes enfants ) j'ai jamais eu de mauvaises expériences. Un A+ constant . Une valeur sur !!
A very nice restaurant, clean, modern & spacious & has a terrace. The service was great, fast & efficient but negative is the pizza itself. A Napoletana pizza big soft & round crust & filling in the middle. These are flat & too hard crust. That's the negative, the taste was there but, it was like Costco pizza.
`Service is terrible, I am first greeted with not a hello, but a contract,'You have an hour & a half to eat, that's it! This was unnecessary because after the hour & a half, the exterior was half empty. You can't help but feel that they don't want you to relax & enjoy your meal, but rather goble it down quickly, take your money , & leave. Every 5 minutes the waiter comes to your table to take your unfinished plate away like they are trying to rush you out of the restaurant. At the table, there were missing glasses, cutlery, like they didn't care! They are hyper for no reason. Oh, & by the way the food is mediocre.They rest on their laurels. Won't be returning.
Une véritable institution à Montréal! On comprend facilement pourquoi ce restaurant est aussi populaire depuis toutes ces années.
La pâte à pizza est authentique, les pizzas sont toujours excellentes & les pâtes sont tout aussi délicieuses. Mention spéciale aux polpettes, qui sont parmi les meilleures que j'ai mangées, ainsi qu'au pain à l'ail, un incontournable.
Ils ont récemment rénové le restaurant & le résultat est magnifique. En été, leur terrasse est super jolie, chaleureuse & vraiment cozy. Juste en face, on retrouve aussi leur comptoir de gelato, Miss Napolitana, parfait pour terminer le repas sur une note sucrée.
L'ambiance est conviviale & familiale, tout en étant idéale pour les grands groupes. Un énorme avantage : on peut apportez son vin, ce qui rend l'expérience encore plus agréable.
Le service est toujours excellent. Plusieurs serveurs sont présents depuis des années, & c'est vraiment agréable d'être reconnu lorsqu'on revient.
Une adresse que je recommande sans hésiter & où je retourne toujours avec plaisir!
Love going back to this place. The Pizza is just fantastic. The thin crust, perfection. The desserts, WOW! The service was great, & the team really took care of us from the beginning to the end. Even though we went when it was starting to get busy, the staff was always attentive & smiley. Ambiance was vibrant & loud, like Italians are meant to be. Great place, great food & great service. Definitely going back (again) :)
After reading many great reviews, I expected SO much more from this place. The margherita pizza was cracker thin, burnt, was made without fresh mozzarella & didn't one single basil leaf on it. I had the spaghetti with rapini & sausage & it was bone dry & absolutely flavorless. The only saving grace were the meatballs we had as an appetizer. They were delicious. I'm Italian on both sides & my nonnas & my mother were all amazing cooks so I know good Italian food. This wasn't it.
