Review Summary

Pizzeria Crosta has quickly established itself as a standout destination in Montreal, primarily praised for its exceptional sourdough crust that many describe as airy, crispy, and full of flavor. Guests frequently highlight the use of high quality, fresh ingredients and creative topping combinations, with the potato slice and the house made ranch sauce receiving consistent acclaim. The atmosphere is generally noted for being vibrant and clean, supported by a friendly and motivated staff. While the popularity of the spot can lead to lines and a warm dining environment, many visitors feel that the unique quality of the dough and the passion behind the preparation make the experience a must-try addition to the local pizza scene.

After having some of the best New York style pizzas, this was my all time favorite pizza. Thin crusty sourdough with the perfect ratio of dough to toppings.
My fav: pepperoni dipped in their killer ranch sauce & the potato pizza

I would give the pizza a 7/10 for this style. The pizza was slightly too thin (when it too thin the pizza becomes a chip) & part of the pizza was too thin
The sauces are great definitely get the ranch (10/10) for it.
The crust of the pizza makes you taste the sourdough which was the highlight for me .

Got 3 slices (spinach, Rosa & cheese)
1- spinach topping & slice was really good 8/10
2- cheese was a disappointment for being too thin & sauce was the Savior (6.5/10)
3- Rosa was really good but again the spice was to thin & burnt on the middle so (7/10)

The wait might be long, but it's worth it.

If you are looking for a quick, budget-friendly bite to eat & have some time to spare, this place might just do the trick, but it is definitely a mixed bag. Let's start with the food itself. The pizza here is perfectly fine; it is genuinely good, but it is certainly not'out of this world' or anything that will completely blow your mind. The standout option is definitely the spinach slice, which has a really nice flavor profile, but overall, we are talking about a pretty standard, decent pizza. That being said, you really cannot complain about the value. At just six bucks a slice, it is an absolute steal for a quick meal. Just keep in mind that a single slice won't quite cut it if you are actually hungry, so you will definitely need to order a minimum of two slices to walk away feeling satisfied.
However, while the price & the food are totally acceptable, the actual experience of getting your food & trying to eat it there is a completely different story. The wait time here is frankly terrible. Because the venue is so popular for its low prices, the lineup is consistently huge, & you have to be prepared to give it anywhere from 30 minutes to a full hour-averaging right around 45 minutes-just to finally get served. It requires a massive amount of patience just to get your hands on a couple of slices.
Once you finally do get your food, the seating situation presents another major downside. While it is technically possible to sit down inside, it is honestly not a great option at all. The dining area is incredibly crowded, tightly packed, & the tables & seating arrangement are just not comfortable or inviting. It is a very tight squeeze, & there is absolutely no ambiance or comfort to enjoy. Because of this, it is definitely not the kind of establishment where you would want to sit down, relax, & enjoy a casual meal with friends.
Ultimately, this spot is an excellent, highly affordable option for a fast bite if you are in a rush & planning to take your food to go. But if you are looking for a comfortable dine-in experience where you can sit back & enjoy your evening without waiting an hour in a massive crowd, you should probably look elsewhere

This is by far the best pizza in the city. I've gone to very high end pizza restaurants & this surpasses it by a mile. The chef is a genius with the dough. Keep up the good work & I'll be back soon.

Did take-away. We oredered during rush hour but the place was VERY warm. Took about 25
-30 waiting in line. Pizza toppings was good but the base is too thin. Wasn't a big fan of the texture of their sourdough.

Good pizza but crazy expensive prices, it's not even justified at this point. Prices start from $38 !!!!! Let that sink in!
