With the opening of its first restaurant in 1981, La Pizzaiolle was the first restaurant to introduce Montreal to pizza baked in a wood burning oven where a small flame is always maintained evenly browning the tasty toppings. 35 years later, we rethink and evolve our concept. The location in Old Montreal is our laboratory. It offers new recipes, antipasti and Italian-inspired cocktails. Premiere fois dans ce restaurant & certainement pas la derniere. Excellente pizza & tres bon service. J'ai hate au printemps pour profiter de leur terrasse!
I stayed very near this establishment for a couple of months last summer. I'm diabetic so pizza is a big no so my wife (who wanted pizza) wanted to go there & I was willing to accompany her, however, because I would only be drinking a beverage, they refused service. The place wasn't packed, I guess they just don't want paying customers. I would have probably gone there several times but being refused service certainly turns you off.
Called this place at 11:39 am on thursday 18 dec 2025. Placed an order for a simple pizza to pick up , arrived at the location 17 mins after placing the order (meanwhile not busy at all). My order of a simple pizza wasn't ready. The host asked me to wait another 10 mins because the Pizzaollo (one ticket at the work station , which is mine)
didn't even start my order. Thanks for ruining my lunch break. Not going to recommend it to anyone.

Nous avons adoré notre expérience! Nous avions été appelés par l'odeur de focaccia à l'ail, & nous n'avons pas été déçus. J'ai pris une pizza à la pancetta, absolument délicieuse. Les cocktails sont parfaits, & pour le prix, c'est vraiment très raisonnable, & la qualité de la nourriture est excellente. Le lieu est magnifique, & la terrasse très jolie! Je recommande, de A à Z!
