With the opening of its first restaurant in 1981, La Pizzaiolle was the first restaurant to introduce Montreal to pizza baked in a wood burning oven where a small flame is always maintained evenly browning the tasty toppings. 35 years later, we rethink and evolve our concept. The location in Old Montreal is our laboratory. It offers new recipes, antipasti and Italian-inspired cocktails. Nous étions en discussion & malheureusement n'avons pas vérifié IMMEDIATEMENT les éléments chargés (nous avons fait confiance)
>> on nous a chargé : 7 desserts au lieu de 3 (2 tartuffo pistache + 1 fondant choco+ 1 tartuffo choco+ 2 gâteau from + 1 tiramisu ) , 2 thé au lieu d'1, 2 cappucino (jamais commandé ??), 1 café latté (jamais commandé ??) >> au total 62.40$ payé en trop
*** Nous avons payé à 21H20, & à 21h25 sans être prévenus , toutes les lumières se sont éteintes & portes verrouillées. Bref nous n'avons pu rentrer pour parler de la facture....

A cheese pizza that only appears in spring & summer-it tastes amazing & is definitely worth trying. The baked pasta with cheese is also delicious. They even provide herb-infused oil. In spring, sitting here enjoying pizza & chatting with friends feels absolutely wonderful.
Très bonnes pizzas! La pâte est délicieuse, légère & croquante! Les portions sont parfaites & il y a beaucoup de variété! Excellent service & beaucoup de places assises sur deux étages.

Honnêtement il y avait plusieurs années que je n'avais pas commandé de chez Pizaiolle. Une des pires pizzas depuis longtemps. Croûte insipide, ingrédients de qualité inférieure. Sauce tomate fade, saucisses bon marché. À l'époque, elle était cuite au four à bois. La base est couverte de semoule de maïs. Maintenant elle semble être cuite dans un four style Domino's. Plus aucun goût lié à la flamme. Je n'en reviens tout simplement pas. Quelle déception: 0/10. À éviter.
Premiere fois dans ce restaurant & certainement pas la derniere. Excellente pizza & tres bon service. J'ai hate au printemps pour profiter de leur terrasse!
I stayed very near this establishment for a couple of months last summer. I'm diabetic so pizza is a big no so my wife (who wanted pizza) wanted to go there & I was willing to accompany her, however, because I would only be drinking a beverage, they refused service. The place wasn't packed, I guess they just don't want paying customers. I would have probably gone there several times but being refused service certainly turns you off.

Called this place at 11:39 am on thursday 18 dec 2025. Placed an order for a simple pizza to pick up , arrived at the location 17 mins after placing the order (meanwhile not busy at all). My order of a simple pizza wasn't ready. The host asked me to wait another 10 mins because the Pizzaollo (one ticket at the work station , which is mine)
didn't even start my order. Thanks for ruining my lunch break. Not going to recommend it to anyone.
