Service was amazing def stop in if you can!
Pizza shop worker from New Orleans here - slices, in-house Pilsner, & the environment are all 10/10 , affordable pizza with great dough structure & super cool workers. Will be back.
Craving a taste of Brooklyn right in the heart of Mile End? 🍕✨
Pizza Toni on Saint-Viateur is serving up what many call the best New York-style slice outside of NYC. Whether you're grabbing a quick'car slice' or sitting down to a full pie, that signature crunch & slightly sweet sauce are absolute game-changers.
Did you know? 💡 Pizza Toni was founded by the same team behind the legendary Falafel Yoni. To make sure they nailed the authentic NYC vibe, the owners actually trained with seasoned pizzaiolos in Los Angeles & Villeray before opening!
Our personal favorite? The'Grandma' Square Slice. It's thick, rustic, & has those perfectly crisp, burnt edges that every pizza lover dreams of. Pair it with one of their custom house pilsners & you've got the ultimate Montreal lunch. 🍺🗽

Yummy! Fav spot to stop at for a good slice of sweet cherry pie :)
Update
$7 for a small slice is crazy, it wasn't good either.
* Review from 2021
Largest & thinnest slices I've ever had, delicious. Great tomato base. The Square ones are delicious too.
Nice pizza place with a nice atmosphere, pizzas are thin crust & very good, a little pricy though since one slice is not enough for one person.
For once in a while, great place to get some pizza!
Great NY style pizza, heard good things about this place & we came to try. Service was awesome, cashier recommended the Sweet Cherry Tomato-we also got a Margherita slice, both were delicious.
(This rating is based on someone who's been here couple of times)
One of our go to places for pizza since it's close to our home. We always have ours take away. We sat there once & the vibes were a bit uncomfortable but nonetheless, pizzas are fantastic.
One time low service: they were missing a slice of pizza & I informed them; the lady working by the cashier had a hard time to believe she forgot to put an extra slice so had to make other customers wait to really make sure we didn't lie. A bit ridiculous to accuse a repeating customer on cheating for a $5 pizza.
You've had pizza Toni but have you had pizza toni takeout, straight out the oven New York style?
That's the only way I'm gonna enjoy pizza Toni now.
The warm crispy slice with perfect load of sauce & cheese was perfect last night. Honestly FANTASTIC.
I love y that you guys have little knickknacks too like the rolling papers, magnets & stickers. Cheers
First time there I tried the mushroom slice it was divine! Very unique & tops any NY style pizza Ive tried! I also tried it with their white signature sauce dip that you order extra, it was really good
One of the best slices I've had in my life. Tried the grandmother style pepperoni square slice, & the classic pepperoni & pepperoni & vodka sauce.
I cant recommend this place enough!
This is right up there with Toronto institution Badiali.
Had the vodka & sdgh slice for 13.50. portions were good & relatively fair for the price. Slices came very hot, & both where quite spicy. I'm unfortunately not the best at spice & was not aware that they were spicy however I can imagine someone more tolerant than I would enjoy it very much. I was a little disappointed today but will certainly be back & try some of the other options!
Definelty best pizza place to go to. Always excited to grab either a slice or a whole pizza.
Pizza Toni had come highly recommended but after visiting & tasting a couple of slices I'm left scratching my head.
The pizzas looked beautiful but I thought both the classic cheese & the vodka pep both really lacked in flavour & were honestly quite bland. From the sauce to the cheese, even the pepperoni, had no punch & overall salt levels were too low.
Credit to the dough though I thought both the classic cheese had a great crispy crust & I really enjoyed the crust & chew on the square slice.
I really wanted to enjoy Pizza Toni, maybe I overhyped it too much, maybe I got two mediocre slices.
Hits all the trendy place staples but sort of falls flat. Not the best texture & consistency throughout the slice. Overall quite pricey, was about $9 for a single slice & drink.
Wow! Sooo good!
The dough has a nice texture & crunch. The pizza had a great undercarriage. The toppings were very tasty.
Tried 2 slices, walked around Mile End & then had to go back to order a whole SHGP pizza to take back home. Definitely a place to try!
Nice place for a quick slice of thin crust pizza. The sauce is what makes it worth the trip. It's pretty darn good.
