Me & my wife passing by, we discovered this wonderful restaurant. The ambience very calming, service is good & food is the main highlight unlike regular Pho that you go most of the time. They serve the meal in classy dishes with unique egg roll. They also provide us special egg tiny soup which to take as a shot which was very interesting. Also the washroom is extremely clean. I would recommend this Pho if want to try something unique Pho.View more
Authentic Vietnamese experience with great service! We felt like welcomed guests at the house of a cook who is passionate about his family recipes. Highly recommend!View more
We got the A4 Crispy Wings in Savory Fish Sauce. The owner explained that the sauce is his recipe, & it was excellent. Would recommend as a starter for sure!!
I got the V1 Charbroiled Pork as my main & I haven't had anything like it - the spices used in the sauce were delicious & I didn't want it to end. I was so satisfied after my meal. I would highly recommend & will be back next time I'm in Montreal!View more
Great place & atmosphere. Food was amazing. The owner was also able to customize the dishes for my parents who are vegetarian. Highly recommend!View more
Such a fun, cozy spot. Loved the service & the educational tips on how to correctly eat all the food.
Got the beef Pho with the egg on the side, highly recommend the egg. Unique experience & really fun to eat! Seems a bit odd at first but definitely worth it.
Prices are good, resteraunt is clean & cozy & would definitely return.View more
Absolutely loved this place! The pho was incredible - rich broth, fresh tender meat, & lots of delicious homemade pickled veggies. The spicy chili oil was a real treat too. Our server was so kind & even explained how to properly enjoy pho, which made the experience even better. Cozy, clean, & full of heart - highly recommendView more
Love this place! The Special Pho is huge & delicious. Very good broth. The pork chop is also great too. Nice flavor & very nice texturally, with a good sear & meat/fat ratio. We also loved their crispy chicken wings & shrimp spring rolls! The crispy chicken wings had an awesome breading (similar to Korean fried chicken) & the toasted peanuts gave it an extra crunch. The service here was also amazing. The woman serving the floor & tending to the back was a superstar. She was extremely helpful in explaining all the different dishes & helping us choose the right ones for us. This restaurant is worth your time! I would definitely come here again the next time I am in Montréal.
Edit: I had came back two days later & had the Bún bò Hu?. I highly recommend! It's the same consistency as the Special Pho broth but it has a much richer, deeper, meatier flavor. This would be good for you if you like to put a lot of condiments/flavors in your pho, as it is slightly spicier. I also had the Chè Thanh Nhi?t dessert & it was soooo good! I love the textures of the jellies & mung beans. It was a lovely end to my meal. I then got shrimp spring rolls to go just in case I had a midnight craving. I know they were good from last time.View more
Everything was so good. Highly recommend if you would love to try authentic Vietnamese food.View more
The pho here is AMAZING! BEST PHO I have had so far. The soup was so deep in flavor & it was perfect after eating a heavy meal for several days. Very comforting. 🥰
My husband got the bon bo hue which was good too! We also had a shrimp papaya salad (there are other options for meat). The owner was super nice & explained how to eat to have the best experience. We asked how the pho tastes so good & he said that the soup takes 3 DAYS to prepare.🤯 He definitely works hard & I hope this palce gets more recognition.
The only thing was that the seats on the corners were tilted because the restaurant is half underground & the flooring can get uneven. However, the store is very cute. I have to recommend it because the food & the owner were so nice.View more
Perfect soups , refreshing herbs, quality meat , & the dipping sauces & spicy sauces are very authentic made with Vietnamese ingredients. Refreshing flavours . Also when the owners cares & make sure to give great recommends when you are ordering, it shows that they care!View more
We ordered fried egg rolls & rare beef pho. The egg rolls were very crispy, & the pho soup was excellent. The shop owner is very friendly, & the food is worth the price. I definitely recommend it.View more
I had a bowl of pho bo (with cooked brisket) & I felt like I was sitting in our favourite restaurant back in Vietnam. It was delicious. I highly recommend this place for its authentic pho bo. :-)View more
As a member of the table from New York mentioned in Kyrie's review, from the moment we entered this restaurant, my four friends & I knew we were in for a treat. Seeing this family owned business run with such incredibly excellent service gave us much confidence in the meal we were about to enjoy. As we sat down, we were met by the owner of the restaurant, who not only gave excellent advice on how to properly enjoy each dish, but was additionally incredibly personable & made our experience unbelievably fun. The food was out of this world. After enjoying the richest, most complex & enjoyable broth ever served with pho, we then rounded out our meal with the most immaculate, soothing iced Vietnamese coffee we had ever tasted. The food & drinks did not only taste delicious, but were additionally good for the soul. To top it all off, the ambiance was beautiful, & it was clear how much love was put into every meal. I truly can not recommend this place enough.View more
As another member of Kyrie's aforementioned'Table from New York,' I can attest to the quality & artistry of this place. It truly is art. From the moment we stepped in, we saw the Owner's selflessness, charisma, & skill on display. My friends & I lovingly dubbed him'the LeBron James of Pho' very soon after we entered the establishment, & he kept one upping himself the entire meal. It would've been one thing to have been blessed with his kindness & charm, it would've been another to have had a nice meal with friends in a beautiful place with nice ambience, but to top all that off, the food (& drink) was incredible. While we spent the most time interacting with the owner, & a little bit with another waitress, an immense amount of credit must also go to everyone else who works there. They all do a fantastic job. Needless to say, I highly recommend.View more
Also as per Kyrie, I too am a member from the New York table. We were provived with a very understanding & wonderful time. The owner is a very charming & nice man who provided service out of this world. The food was fantasic with love you could feel in every bite. Would recommend for people far & wide to visit this amazing family-owned restaurant at least once in their life.View more
As per Kyrie's review, I am member of the table from New York who was seated next to her table. We had such a great time at this restaurant. The owner is incredibly passionate & confident about his cooking, & he has every right to be. It was so delicious, & he was such a pleasure to speak to. He made us feel so welcome. When we return to Montreal, we will be returning. What a great place! Highly recommend!!!View more
The entrance is kind of sketchy (in the sense that it makes you wonder if you're really entering a restaurant or private property). The food is delicious & the staff is very nice. The service is very good & fast. Very affordable as well. Would absolutely recommend.View more
Very good delicious Pho! The atmosphere is also very calm & home like. Very friendly owners. Would recommend!View more
Anh gave our party of 10 an amazing experience. The food was great but the service was incredible. Highly recommend if you're in the area!!View more
I would first like to qualify this review by saying that the only reason that I am giving two stars instead of one is due to the quality of the food. Make no mistake, the food here is excellent. That being said, I was *highly* unimpressed by the older gentleman who, upon serving my partner a side dish, proceeded to give him a paternalistic lecture for over a minute straight on the proper manner to eat said side dish, despite making us visibly uncomfortable. As we did not wish to make a scene, we endured him until he finally left us alone. My partner was quite nervous & unhappy with the experience. We will not be returning, & I would not recommend this restaurant unless you enjoy unsolicited "advice."View more
A very tasty & very authentic Bun Cha Ha Noi! It felt like being back in Hanoi where I lived for many years! RecommendView more

Great authentic Vietnamese restaurant with authentic Pho soup. Best Pho in Montreal! Service was good even though the restaurant was busy. I highly recommend it!View more
I went there for the first time today & let me say this: this place is HIDDEN GEM. From the food to the restaurant itself, i loved everything about this restaurant. the person who served us (who i am assuming is the owner) was very passionate & gave us some recommendations. he also told us how everything there is fresh & homemade. the washrooms were also spotless & smelled good. this was overall a great experience & i WILL be coming back for more yummy pho. 10/10 would definitely recommend!View more
We sought out Pho Anh on a rainy miserable night, & were not disappointed. Service was excellent, the single server running hither & yon to look after everybody. She was cheerful, friendly, professional & so very sweet & kind. Our dinner was fantastic, & the pho took us back to our visits to Vietnam. Pho differs from region to region in Vietnam, so this pho is different than what we have in Vancouver, but it was fantastic! Very flavourful, courtesy of the high quality ingredients & the broth that cooks for three days. The pork & chicken & rice dish was equally excellent. One of the best Vietnamese restaurant experiences we have ever had, & we'd heartily recommend Pho Anh if you are in Montreal.View more
The owner / cook was very proud of his pho broth, & for good reason! He made sure to check in with us & let us know that we were having the "real pho, so no bean sprouts, etc." & came again later on to ask how it was. Our answer: delicious! We also enjoyed the I highly recommend this place dessert, which reminded me a lot of Filipino halo-halo. Service was great, & the food was served fast. Would come here again.View more
This has to be my favourite restaurant ever. The chef always comes to talk to you to reel you about the dish & how to eat it. It is the perfect balance between feeling like you having dinner at a friends house & having a fine dining experience. You can tell that a great amount of care was put in to their dishes. Put simply their vegetarian pho was the probably the best dinner I have ever had. I would highly recommend this amazing place!!View more
