The food was presented beautifully - bowls of home-made broth with several kinds of pork, meatballs, eggs, fried rolls, pickles, noodles & copious amounts of fresh coriander, mint & lettuce. The owner & staff were very informative, lively & helpful. Vegetarian options are available & although none at our table sampled them, I can well imagine they are also wonderful. I will definitely be back for the spectacular combination of flavours & textures at Pho Anh.View more
Best pho in town! Trust the waiters they know what they are talking about.
My GF & I tried two dishes & both were amazing. Super fresh ingredients & good quality meat. I appreciate that they don't cater to the Canadian palate.
I will be back for sure!View more
Phenomenal pho. The broth is super flavorful & good amount of meat. Spring rolls with the fish sauce is excellent. Despite being a seasoned pho consumer, I learned some new techniques from the owner. He prepared a dipping sauce on our table (hoisin + fresh garlic + pickled jalapeno + chili oil) which was perfect to dip the meat in before each bite. Also my wife got an egg with her pho & the owner walked us through his preferred method in devouring it in one shot haha. Overall fantastic & we will be back!View more
Unbelievable food! Wow, fresh & the taste is impeccable!View more
Absolutely loved this place! The pho was incredible - rich broth, fresh tender meat, & lots of delicious homemade pickled veggies. The spicy chili oil was a real treat too. Our server was so kind & even explained how to properly enjoy pho, which made the experience even better. Cozy, clean, & full of heart - highly recommendView more
My friends & I enjoyed a delicious meal here while visiting Montreal. When we first entered, it seemed that there would be no seating available, until the owner quickly put together group seating for all six of us. From that moment, we knew we were in for a great experience. The restaurant was very busy when we went, & as such, it did take some time for us to get our food. However, the atmosphere was both fun & comfortable, giving us quality time to talk to one anotherr. Even better, the food more than made up for any wait. I ordered the chicken vermicelli, & most of my friends had the beef pho. The owner came out & gave us excellent advice on how to mix & enjoy our respective dishes, along with great conversation. Each dish was made fresh with real care & dedication; it's clear that everyone who works there puts love into the meals they create, ensuring diners will enjoy them too. To top it off, the Vietnamese iced coffee they served was the best I'd ever had. It was an incredible experience overall. If you're looking for a good meal in a great place, go to Pho Anh.View more
Excellent, fresh & inventive. Vietnamese favourites notched up next level with North Vietnamese flavours. We'll be back !View more

The food was fresh & very tasty: I recommend the papaya salad, brisket pho, & coconut ice cream. The owner was really welcoming & explained he cooks the broth for 3 days.View more
The owner makes his own pho broth & the meat is fresh & never frozen. Don't add anything to your pho, it's delicious as is. Best pho I've ever had!!View more
We had a craving for Pho on a chilly fall day in Montreal. This place does not disappoint. The owner personally came up to us & explained that the pho he serves here is true to what a traditional pho in Vietnam would be like. He explained the difference in flavor & serving preparations between what you normally find in western style pho restaurants & what you find in Vietnam. The quality speak for itself, everything was delicious, fresh, & prepared with care. If you are anywhere in central Montreal, this place is worth coming to.View more
I went there for the first time today & let me say this: this place is HIDDEN GEM. From the food to the restaurant itself, i loved everything about this restaurant. the person who served us (who i am assuming is the owner) was very passionate & gave us some recommendations. he also told us how everything there is fresh & homemade. the washrooms were also spotless & smelled good. this was overall a great experience & i WILL be coming back for more yummy pho. 10/10 would definitely recommend!View more
Currently visiting Montreal & stumbled upon this restaurant. It did not disappoint! The bun cha was so authentic, it reminded me of the food in Hanoi! The flavors were perfect & the egg roll was nice & crispy. The pho ga was delicious as well, very clean & simple but you could taste how fresh the ingredients were. There was also a lemon pepper sauce that you could dip the chicken in for more flavor. Would definitely come here again :)View more
This place came highly recommended by my son who lives across the street as well as two complete strangers we met at a pub a few doors down. It would've been easy to miss as it's on a lower level on the busy street of St. Denis but it should not be overlooked. The service was excellent, so much pride in the food & space. We had a selection of dishes, all which were so delicious & fresh. The beef salad appetizer, which I almost forgot to order then I remembered that the strangers at the pub raved about, did not disappoint. I could've eaten buckets of it. Every bite was fragrant & flavourful. The owner even came over to tell us it was his own creation so not available anywhere else. Every time I come back here I will order it without fail. Loved everything about this hidden gem. Sorry no photos...we were too excited to eat!View more
Best pho 🍜 ever. Best shrimp spring rolls ever- so crisp & fresh. Service, excellent & genuine; the owner/cook Anh came out & blessed us with his presence & quick share of his authentic recipes. Tommy our server was kind, gentle soul. Thank you Pho Anh 🙏View more
Some of the best Vietnamese food we've had outside of Vietnam. The beef salad was exceptional. All of the dishes were very flavourful, lots of fresh ingredients used in the preparation. Highly recommended.View more
Our first stop in Montreal. Delicious Vietnamese & some of the best I've had outside of Vietnam. Had Phở Tái Nạm & Bún Chả - Hà Nội. The owner talked to us about how he cooks everything fresh & made us feel very welcomed. Highly recommend.View more
Pho was super tasty. The broth is cooked for 3 days & the owner uses only fresh beef. It reminded me my trip to Vietnam. Rice paper rolls were also very nice. Service was great & attentive. They could work a little bit on a nice decor & atmosphere inside, but overall I'd definitely go back to try more things on the menu.View more
I cannot recommend this Vietnamese restaurant enough! We ordered our usual dishes, B1 - Rare Beef & RC - Steamed Broken Rice Charbroiled Chicken, & they were absolutely amazing. The broth was incredibly clean & flavorful, & for the first time ever, we didn't feel sluggish after indulging in pho. The meats were tender & deliciously chewy. What sets this place apart is their commitment to quality. The owner shared with us that they use only fresh meat & onion to enhance the soup, omitting bean sprouts. Additionally, they provide hot pepper sauce, sliced ginger, & sliced pepper, which added even more depth to our pho experience. We're only staying in Montreal for two days, but we're already planning to revisit this gem. My only wish is for them to offer larger portions for us big foodies! :PView more
