Le Phillips Bar propose une ambiance casual chic et un menu japonais mettant à l’honneur les makis et hand rolls, préparés sous les yeux des invités. Les chefs Antonio Park, Olivier Vigneault et S'Arto Chartier-Otis ont conjugué leur expertise et leur talent pour imaginer un menu inspiré des traditions de l’art de la table nipponne. On y retrouve des plats qu’ils aiment eux-mêmes déguster, comme des baby back ribs fondantes, des cuisses de poulet marinées et grillées, des tartares, des chips & dips de peau de poulet et de saumon, sans oublier une large sélection de makis et hand rolls. Les plats chauds sont servis sous forme de Teishoku, composés d’une variété de préparations raffinées et soigneusement assorties. Chaque élément est conçu pour être dégusté avec du riz japonais, offrant un équilibre harmonieux de saveurs et de textures.Côté boissons, l’offre est tout aussi soignée avec une sélection de sakés, de cocktails et de vins d’importation privée.

?A huge shout-out to Mathieu & Sébastien! Bien que toute l'équipe ait été fantastique, j'ai eu le plaisir d'interagir spécifiquement avec eux. Ils ont dépassé toutes nos attentes, s'assurant que tout le monde était en sécurité, bien hydraté & pris en charge tout au long de la soirée. Leur dévouement a fait toute la différence!

What an experience! Amazing food, drinks & atmosphere! While we only sampled a few menu items, everything from the drinks to the dessert was exceptional. Great value for the quality of the food. Can't wait to return!

Phillips Bar gave us a wonderful & memorable experience! From appetizers to mains, the dishes felt unique & well-prepared. The service was attentive throughout. I especially loved the salad & the crab dish - just wish there was a bit more of it. Well done!

This was my second visit to Phillips Bar, & once again, I was absolutely blown away! Every dish was incredible. Special shout-outs to the slip cod & the perfectly cooked steak, as well as the chicken skin with truffle sauce appetizer - you can really tell the chef is a master of his craft. The way flavors & textures are combined makes every bite a memorable culinary experience.
I came with a friend who was trying certain dishes for the first time - it was a bit out of his comfort zone, but he loved nearly everything! We are already looking forward to our next visit.
Huge thanks to the entire team for creating such an exceptional evening. Truly a dining experience not to be missed!

Okay but this spot?? So good. The menu has everything - hand rolls, maki, otsumami, taru taru, sarada, teishoku - & I tried a bit of it all (no regrets). Everything was super fresh, portions were perfect, & the service was fast + super friendly. The cocktails were not only so cute but actually amazing too 😋🍸
The whole vibe is chill & cozy - perfect for dinner with friends or a cute night out. 10/10 recommend, I'm already planning my next visit 💛

Absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was so tasty & im someone who's super picky so I was afraid that i might not like some of the food but i really wanted to try so i did & it was amazing, there are so many flavors in the food & their soya sauce is really great. The music is really fun & unique. My favorite was the onigiri tempura! I had never tasted anything like it before! I also like the chicken skin & potato truffle whip, i liked the fluffiness of the whip. I went with my family & they all loved the food, the sushi & the handrolls!

Super expérience, très bon service. Le tartare de boeuf incroyable, le meilleur que j'aie mangé de ma vie. La salade de mangue, haricots & morue : tout était excellent. Très bon cocktail également !

Super belle découverte au centre-ville! Le bar a une ambiance chic mais détendue, parfaite autant pour un 5 à 7 que pour finir la soirée. Les cocktails sont travaillés & originaux (vraiment bien dosés, pas trop sucrés). Le service est attentionné sans être envahissant, on sent que l'équipe connaît ses produits. La musique & l'éclairage ajoutent vraiment au vibe. Je recommande autant pour une date que pour sortir entre amis.

The miso black cod is an absolute MUST. It was delicious & so were the hand rolls & sushi! The cocktails were beautifully complex & so tasty as well. I personally enjoy bar seating & we had such great & attentive service.
I will definitely go back, & I suggest bringing friends so you can try as many dishes as possible!

When I discovered that the restaurant featured a fusion of Japanese cuisine crafted by Chef Lawrence Tomlinson, I knew I was in for a treat-& it certainly did not disappoint. The chef's creativity & innovative twists on high-quality ingredients resulted in a vibrant menu bursting with flavor. Each dish left me eager to inquire about the secret ingredient that elevated the flavors to an extraordinary level, yet I couldn't quite pinpoint it. I absolutely adored everything about this place! My only regret was not trying a cocktail, as the ones I saw being served looked simply irresistible. You will not be disappointed.
