I've been to Pavilion 67 a few times in the past & always had a great experience, so I was looking forward to coming back after about a year or two.
This time, the experience started off a bit disappointing. We had a reservation & arrived on time, but ended up waiting in the reservation line for about 10 minutes while several groups behind us were called ahead. It turns out that someone at the entrance was supposed to take our name to mark our arrival, but no one informed us. We were basically standing there waiting without being acknowledged, which felt frustrating-especially considering that reservations are time-sensitive & can be canceled if you're late.
Once seated, things improved significantly. Our server was excellent-very professional & attentive-& took the time to explain the latest changes to the buffet. The food was also very good overall. I didn't try everything, but what I did have was easily in the 8-9/10 range.
The other downside is how crowded it gets, especially on a Saturday night. The buffet lines were quite long, & it felt like the number of seats compared to the buffet stations might not be well balanced. For a restaurant at this price point, spending a lot of time waiting in line for food takes away from the experience.
Overall, I still recommend Pavilion 67 for the quality of the food & service once you're seated. Just make sure to arrive early, confirm your check-in, & consider avoiding peak times like weekends or event nights for a better experience.
Disappointed, Saturday night buffet no longer the same. Price increased, no longer includes coffee or tea anymore, which we did not know. Been going for over 10 years, noticed many cutbacks. No more meat carving station, meat is already sliced & dry. Smoked salmon & shrimps changed, less quality & quantity available. Missing mashed potatoes, pilaf rice, pizza, BBQ ribs, etc. Less tasty options available, replaced with cheaper alternatives. New sushi section not good, too much vinegar in rice. Did not like the new Italian station. Too much pastas, cioppino wasn't good (tomato sauce tasted like it was directly from can, disgusting). We liked the new ice cream option (although very water based), but please bring back creme brulee or crepes Suzette. Desserts options are mediocre, quality keeps decreasing with them being just heavily sugar based. In all, bang for the buck is no longer there based on quality & quantity of options. Will not be returning anytime soon during the weekend evening option.
Used to be worth the long waiting time! Not anymore…the prices went up, the choices went down & the quality of the food REALLY dropped - & we still have to wait between one to two hours to be seated!! We will eat elsewhere, before coming to the casino from now on.
Way over priced for a buffet 160$ for 2 people with a beer & tip. We had one plate each with barely anything in our plates. The food quality is very poor & not fresh. Sushi tasted old & food was cold.Wasn't impressed with this restaurant. Will not be going back.
It is amazing we still have a buffet inside the Casino, when in Las Vegas those were long gone. Prices are sparking all over, but Pavillon67 cost is still affordable. It's a little bid sad that between December 26th & 30th, there is no more sea food section, they used to have. Selection is a bit less, but the quality remain still very high for an all you can eat buffet.
Service was slow when we were there, but the restaurant was fully packed on December 28th 2025.
Facing new realities of 2025-2026, Pavillon67 is still a great place for what we paid. Commodities are good, parking is free, easy to find & just down at the basement levels. Restaurant service is not bad, polite & responsive, but clearly under staffed during Chrismas holidays.
Lobster bisque 🦞 was a drawback ... it was really bad, way too salty, missed some ingredients, not even closed to the best one I had. It may seat there hours before renewed. Better to withdraw it.
Plenty of dishes are still amazing, you have just to pick the right ones. The gourmand side is still there, just have to dig more. We still have 14-15 selections by the gourmet standard, which is not bad at all. I was surprised how fruits & vegetables were so fresh for a non vegan restaurant !
Desserts are on the top level, with a lot of products on the, high quality, tasty & delicate side.
All in all, that level of classy & gourmet buffet is rare to find nowadays in Montreal & surrounding areas.
A nice place to go, closed to the Montreal old port, with a somehow wallet friendly compare to the Montreal old port restaurant alternatives, & no parking spot to run endlessly after.
For the amount asked, we were very satisfied. The interior is classy & cozy with an upscale touch, & we can still find a nice number of gourmet dishes.

Another drawback is the Lobster bisque 🦞 ... it was really bad, way too salty & missed like half of the ingredients, not even closed to the best one I had. Better to withdraw it.

Went for lunch December 27 ,table of 7 where we we're seated in a isolated area in the back, facing walls looked over at the other side of the restaurant which was empty with all windows, open feeling & a beautiful view, that section was empty!!!!!Then we looked at the buffet & was disappointed Quality of the food, choice of the foods, food presentation all bad….. 3 from the group decided not to eat at all & the 4 others did eat because they had to & was very disappointed! I noticed the person in charge of the buffet kept mixing the food to make it look fresher & more appetizing.,the chicken was not cooked, the rice was cold , potatoes were dry,the pasta & the pizza looked over cooked Even the choice on the salad bar was minimal & basic….Practically everything on that buffet table was not up to standard & my husband has been in the business for the last 40 years, we were embarrassed for our guest who had never been to the casino… They then went into the other restaurant which they thought was a cafeteria & could not believe the standard of that restaurant & the choices ,so they did not stay At the casino & went elsewhere to eat a decent meal…. All the money generated into that casino you certainly are not up to the standard that most people expect & want to spend money towards? There are other casinos that we frequent often such as the Playground here & others around the world which is exceptional in food, standard, & price & choice!!!! We Will never go back to that restaurant again!!!
We were there for Saturday lunch. The price was reasonable for the food quality & selection. Service for drinks was a bit slow. I'd go again any time though. It's a nice spot & convenient if you're already goong to the casino.
Update March 25: Been to this buffet more times than I counted.
Official review: My first time eating at this buffet & it was alright. Here is my review.
It was busy since it was Father's Day.

Pros:
A) The buffet is on the top floor so on some seatings you may have a good view & if your inside no view.
B) Selection was alright. It's a smaller buffet but the quality was worth it.
C) Our waiter (don't know his name). He was so friendly & funny at the same. He was an older gentleman. He filled our water too.
D) The atmosphere was good it felt like you were at home & not that noisy.
C) The food was really good. It tasted well & some were alright but majority was good.
D) Washrooms were clean & well taken care of.
E) Elevators are available for those who need.
F) Reservation is easy except on busy nights & you may need to reserve there at the Cansino. Sometimes to get just the table is hard since they select for you & you can't sit anywhere you go.
Cons:
A) Since it's in the top it's a long way to get from the bottom to the top.
B) Some staff are nice especially if they know you & some are not. A lot of the chefs there are filling up the food & they were working well like cleaning the counters & thing like that.
C) They need to practice their English more. Some are bilingual but they need to improve on English.
D) It's a small buffet but not like others I have been to so food can be limited.
Conclusion:
Other than that this buffet is a go & try it if you haven't. It's a good decent buffet & I would not mind coming back especially since the quality is good & it's in the Casino so you know your getting good food.
Maybe make the Casino & the food better environmentally friendly & sustainable & also make it better by improving & listening to customer feedback & ideas.
Also add more space & maybe add more nice views if possible in the near future.
Also make the Casino open everyday for Buffet instead of 5 days.
God Bless the Casino & the Buffet.
God Bless the people who keep it making it for what it is.
God bless you & thank you.
Finding a good buffet post-covid years has proven to be difficult in my experience. This is no doubt the best one I have found in Montreal. For the price you pay, the variety & the quality of the food is quite fair. Service is also great, & the dining area looks impeccable. As long as the price doesn't get any steeper, I am happy to call this the Best Buffet of Montreal.
Many Americans still visit & attend college in Montreal despite its recent anti English speaking politics. It would be nice on American Thanksgiving Day to serve Turkey at your restaurant. It wouldn't take much for you to do I'm sure. I inquired last year by calling your restaurant but was rebuked for merely asking for this courtesy. Anyway, it might help Canadian-American relations, especially for us expats living in Montreal. Otherwise, your food selections & quality are very good to excellent even by New York City standards. Your waiter service is excellent.
Small but very high quality buffet. A bit on the pricier side but the food selection matches that so can't complain.
One of the best buffet I've tried so far. The price is very reasonable for the high quality of food offered, especially if you come by on Thursday or Sunday (try reserving before coming as their tables are booked very fast) The only area where I see room for improvement is in the variety of the food; adding more options would enhance the experience.
It was a nice location & the restuarant was very clean, layout, good & the service with Jackie (I think) was great! However with the end price was a bit higher than expected & I do not believe the food quality reflected that although it was not bad. I just hoped the quality would be a little better & have more variation. I would also hope that either the client quantity would be limited or the queue organised a little better as the line for the main area (with the roast beef) kept growing & I gave up trying to access that section. It was also a little disappointing to see from reviews that previously available dishes had been removed (smoked salmon, lobster etc). The cocktail menu could be a bit more extensive. Although not related to the restuarant, the table next to us were complaining all throughout our stay which did damper our experience slightly as well. I would visit again if I was in the area but I don't think I would go for the buffet specifically.
