Not friendly, rude & unprofessional.
I came to buy hot dogs at my break.
I ordered but they didn't start to cook it.
I asked why but all the 3 cashiers ignored me when I tried to talk because I did not understood what they ask & asked for french speaking person.
I leaved hungry!
Last time here.
Pretty sure that the goob reviews are all bots !
The owner seems to justify employees behavior by shifting the blame without looking what they did.
I tried to reach them, the owners asked my phone & mail by Instagram, but they never reached me to clear the situation.
It shows that they doesn't care.
Now I visit an other place where the staff is always gentle & attentive & where I don't need to contact the owner to be served.

One of my top three favourite poutine spots in Montreal. The service is always friendly, the portions are big & hearty, & they offer a great variety of poutines

Disappointing after 25 years

I've been a customer of Paolo & Suzanne for 25 years, so it's honestly disappointing to see how much the portions have changed over time.

The portions have noticeably decreased, & the smoked meat is probably half-or even a quarter-of what it used to be. For a long-time customer, it's hard not to notice the difference, especially when you remember what you used to get for your money.

I understand that costs have increased, but when both the portions & the overall value decrease, it really affects the experience.

I'd love to be able to continue supporting a place I've enjoyed for so many years, but I also want to feel like I'm getting a fair value for what I pay.

Ps: the 2nd photo is the image on the menu

I, for some stupid reason, decided to walk all the way from Old Montreal to here instead of smarter choices like taking transit, to try what I had heard was some of the best poutine you can get in the city.

Maybe this is because I am already from Canada, & have had plenty of poutine elsewhere, but dare I say.. it was just very normal poutine. Not very memorable. It tasted fine, but nothing much to say besides that.

Besides that, portion size was great for the price + The cheese curds were the best part. Super squeaky!
