Came here for The poutine & beer, the poutine gravy & cheese were very good, it had a tiny hint of sweetness to it which I loved.
Got disappointed when I tasted the beer & realized it's not actual beer, it's a kind of root beer 🤣😭

I'm giving this place five stars because it offers a great experience if you're seeking to get a couple of steamies & some fries just like the good old days.
The hot dogs & garnishing were very fresh, & taste it just like the typical Lester steamie. Unfortunately the fries were a bit disappointing. Not sure what oil they use but it had very little flavor, overly browned & soggy. They do not rank amongst the top fries if you're looking for the typical Quebec style.

This is diner food perfection! The double burger was phenomenal. The two beef patties were perfectly seared & incredibly juicy, served on a fresh, toasted bun.
Equally great were the fries-thick-cut & tasting truly homemade.
It's a classic, satisfying meal executed flawlessly.

Depuis 1958, Paul Patates incarne l'authenticité des casse-croûte québécois. Avec son décor rétro, ses tabourets chromés & ses jukebox (même si parfois silencieux), l'endroit offre une expérience honnête, simple & conviviale.
Le fameux hot-dog vapeur, servi'all-dressed', obtient des louanges pour sa qualité : saucisse ferme & juteuse, bun moelleux, garnitures équilibrées.
La poutine, elle, est souvent qualifiée de « pure, impeccable » : frites croustillantes, sauce onctueuse bien dosée & fromage en grains frais qui croque sous la dent.
La bière d'épinette, signature gourmande
Une boisson unique : artisanale, brassée sur place selon une recette ancestrale, cette bière d'épinette séduit par sa saveur originale, rappelant parfois… l'ambiance des fêtes ! Un élément distinctif régulièrement cité parmi les meilleurs atouts de l'endroit.

Meilleure poutine sans gluten de Montréal
juste dommage que le resto de soit pas ouvert souvent. les heures de fermetures sont trop tôt pour nous. & nous constatons que c'est souvent fermé malheureusement, je conseil d'appeler pour voir se c'est ouvert avant de vous déplacer.
Ca vaut définitivement le détour. J'adore leur sauce à Michigan également
