Grab a couple of toasties & definitely get the homemade spruce beer. They have two options (one sweeter, one original) so you can get exactly what you remember. Great place for a quick bite.
Typically good fast-food. Quick friendly service. Good prices.
I like the home made sprucebeer.
Best overall classic poutine in the city everything is done right, the sauce is neither too thick or runny, nor is it overly salty. Fries have a nice crispness & the cheese is up to standards. Also can't forget the spruce beer. Hidden gem in PSC, wish it was open on Sundays!
The spruce beer & the poutine were phenomenal & the atmosphere is amazing.
One of the best old-school greasy spoons in the city, everything is delicious, & the staff is always friendly. This place has to be one of the few left that still sells spruce beer!
Visiting from Toronto. Reviews don't lie. Long history & poutine super fireeeee 😋 had to try the spruce beer as it was recommended, very refreshing.
The hamburger combo + poutine & spruce beer was fantastic. The burger was simple but perfectly cooked. The cheese curds were very squeaky. I really enjoyed the spruce beer, too. Highly recommended for some really good poutine!
