A must try in Montreal. Often very busy.
Their prices are good & food delicious. Its got a nice vibe as well & good service. Only a few tables but turnover is quick so worth the wait. Takeout also great idea. Open late.
They have a cozy, hippie-style vibe. It's a nice spot for a quick, casual bite. The portions are pretty small, but the prices aren't too high, so it kind of balances out. Overall, it's fun to try at least once.
Beautifully intimate, cozy vibe & friendly service! Food was very reasonably priced, french onion soup was on the saltier side but the poutine was delicious - great fries, amazing squeaky curds, delicious sauce. I wouldn't recommend going with more than 2 people, it's a very tight space. Adds to the cozy vibe though.
This is the ultimate in shabby-chic: it's good comfort food, in classic diner style with an edgy vibe. The poutine was delicious, the service was fast & friendly, & while it won't even get a Michelin star it will fill your belly & leave you happy!
Definitely a must-visit establishment, of course for the food but also the vibes. Small place but great atmosphere. We went for a Patatine (poutine with cut raw veggies) & Grilled Cheese. Not a fan of Patatine as a concept (still wanted to give it a shot) but the poutine part of that was great. Grilled cheese was amazing. Would definitely visit again to try other things in the menu.
Staff was great, super friendly & chilled. Couple of tables & bar seating available inside but many folks just did a takeout.
Definitely recommended.
Late night snacking paradise. The staff quick kind & efficient. Food portions & prices were also great no complaints. if they can (legally & by law permitting) get some outdoor seating while we wait or to eat outside either the summer would be awesome. There is a dingy park across the street though where you can do that if you like. There is seating inside though & it its more of a grab & go vibe.
Superb! Hamburger buns from a Portuguese bakery in the neighborhood were perfect. Burgers grilled to perfection. Great vibe
Visited twice during my trip to montreal. Exceptional customer service with the extraordinary food quality. My wife loved the vibe of the place as well, We are definitely visiting again next time when we are in Montreal.
Wow it really lived up to the hype!! This is the poutine I came to Montreal for!! It's definitely a hole in the wall vibe being quite small but the service & the food made up for it. Despite it being incredibly popular & busy, the gentlemen who served us took their time to make sure we were very well taken care of. The team had such a good work dynamic, working so efficiently to give the best service possible. They were all so genuine & you can tell the love they put into their food & service.
For the people hating on this place, go spend triple the cost at a'fancy' restaurant for 1/4 of the portions with mediocre service :)
I really can't say much about the famous Poutine, as I had the first one in my life here (it tasted pretty good!), but the burger (classic beef with bacon & cheese) was outstanding. Beers are fresh from the tab, service is really friendly, & the place surely has a vibe. It looks a bit rough at first, but catches you once you're sitting inside. Prices are more than fair - especially the burgers are perfectly reasonable. Overall a great place!
First time I ever went there, I thought the Poutine was alright (it was my first time trying poutine so I didn't know what to expect). I returned just a few days ago & honestly, if you're looking to just get some fries & a burger, for about $5 each, you can't beat it. Vibe inside is warm & cozy & the staff is super friendly 🤜🏻🤛🏼
Spot is a vibe, team is a vibe, burgers are absolute fire. Take double patty with cheese.
Hands down one of my favourite poutines, I make sure to stop by here at least once anytime I'm in town. Excellent ratios, flavours, & portions, their poutine hits every mark for me. They use thinner, shoestring like fries which is not so traditional but a welcome addition as they help to get every bite coated in more gravy! They also offer a wide selection of small sandwiches & burgers, all of which are very reasonably priced & from what I've tried so far, delicious! Service is friendly & the small diner vibe is welcoming & cozy. Highly, highly recommend!
Thomas, Bruno, Chris & Flo are encroyable! The service here is above & beyond... the most amazing poutine alongside vibes.... Very welcome! C'est bon & délicieux 😋
Good food at good prices, but that aggressive waiter taking the orders has to go. Even his coworkers look terrified, let alone the customers. He kills the vibe.
It has an amazing vibe, the food was very good & the homemade ice tea alone is worth a try. Service was great too!
Nice place to eat local food after a long walk across the city. The Latino music & environment give to this place a really good vibes. Ps: we expend $22 buck in total for 2 person
Despite being born & raised in Montreal, I've never eaten here until a couple weeks ago. & it was so fresh & delicious. I got a hamburger & a hot dog. I appreciated the birder being on a non-traditional bun. The news was so fresh it made for a delicious meal. Can't wait to go back. & everything is so affordable & well portioned. & they had a 2000s dance playlist on that was really setting a great vibe while we waited for our food!
