Pasticceria Alati-Caserta has proudly been in business since 1968. Vittorio Caldarone and his wife, Maria Di Meo opened their first shop on Saint-Viateur Street, and then settled in Little Italy because of its bigger location. Their son, Marco grew up surrounded by life in a pastry shop, and now runs PasticceriaAlati-Caserta along with his wife, Linda.

Their cannolis are just too good to resist. More than once I've gone in hoping for the pistachio cannoli, only to find they were already sold out! Well, their other flavours are delicious too.
I purchased several different pastries & they were all so fresh & delicious. I appreciate the fact that the individual prices are also displayed. Keep up your great service.
Good authentic Italian pastry shop, however personally I didn't find some of the chosen products were fresh, the frozen cake tasted funny & had some strong aftertaste in.
I've been going here for years to enjoy the best cannolis in the city. The batch I bought last weekend was so disappointing. They've changed their recipe & mixing it with some whipped cream instead of ricotta because it's not the way it used to be. So disappointing
I wait all year at Easter for their Pastiera di Grano & it never disappoints. The flavors of the ricotta, orange & lemon pieces, & their crust take me back to Italia everytime. The cannoli are always fresh & the best in Montréal. Grab a box of assorted cookies, it doesn't matter which ones, they are ALL utterly delicious. Many with an almond base. The box of heaven is all tied up with a red, white & green string with a bow of course. Mangia!!!
The best traditional Italian pastry shop in little Italy & their Zeppolees traditional or backed along with all other pastries are to die for, the staff are very friendly & nice.

Honnêtement, les cannoli ici sont d'un autre niveau. J'en ai goûté un peu partout, & ceux-là sont facilement parmi les meilleurs que j'ai mangés.
La coquille est parfaitement croustillante, jamais molle, avec ce petit goût légèrement caramélisé comme il faut. La ricotta est ultra fraîche, légère, pas trop sucrée, exactement comme ça devrait être.
Tu sens que c'est fait avec des vraies techniques italiennes, pas une version cheap
A lot of things have decreased in quality or are catering to french canadian people who don't know any better. & certain egregious choices, such as putting artificial costco style frosting inside a 6.50 nutella zeppole, or custard from a mix. I understand wanting to innovate a traditional recipe but you still have to use real pastry cream, real ricotta…
Splendid, absolutely marvelous. One of the best places to get anything with ricotta, & to each order I like to also add some amaretti!! Great cannoli, too 🥰
