This place also made me gain 10 pound for the amount of times I've eaten here in the heart of the best hood in mtl little Italy they really made a great impression shout out to the WHOLE STAFFF for the amazing food they push out everyday , yes the price isn't cheap but guys every thing is hand made & made with love time & effort for us. So pay eat drink & thank me later .
Food looks really good on the photos. Too bad I will never taste it because the girl that answered the phone is extremely rude & disrespectful. You may have the best concept but it only takes one bad apple to sink the entire ship.
Had the best time on the terrace this summer! The pasta was unreal, felt like fine dining but with that cozy, local vibe. Great wine list too. Definitely a spot I'd go back to :)
The pasta was amazing! The service was great, & they had some great wine recommendations. However, the terrace was filled with bees. I guess it's the time of year.
Not bad, but not great. I can see the appeal in the concept, but feels like it felt victim to it's hype. Had big expectations as a lot of people said it's the best pasta they've eaten, but in my opinion there's much better spots for pasta in the area & in Montreal in general. Prices are also kinda crazy for what you get.
I feel it's overpriced for what you get. Spent a little over $40 for an average ragout pasta with a side of green beans.
Pasta is good kinda expensive considering portion-price but maybe a nice thing once in a while
I've been looking forward to trying this restaurant & I was sincerely disappoint. Ordered to go because we weren't told of the outdoor terrace. It seems they forgot about out order since the the people who ordered to go after us received their food first. When asked they rushed to make our food & it was sub par. A simple acknowledgment would have gone a long way. Very expensive to eat in the park
Im very disappointed by this place. First, the place is very small & loud so I suggest you the take out. The service is very slow, we wait almost 30min for our take out outside & they forgot our order & didn't mentioned it at all. The pricing is very very high & I would have expected a bit more quality for the service. Concerning the food, it was ok, the tiramisu & the bred antipasti was very good but the Ravioli & Bolognese was missing of flavors. & again, when you see the pricing it's pretty high for what is it especially when the portions are that small. Doesn't really worth the hype, I won't go back.
Great ravioli with spinach!
I would suggest a bit less salt.
& lower the music. Seems too loud for the size of the place.
Other than those 2 things, it's a great place!!
We drove from Toronto & will come back just for this pasta!!
Very good place, very good food, not so much seating but you can take out
Pasta Pooks all the way!!
In general, had a bummer of an experience.
Waited 35 minutes from getting there to getting the food. I had ordered for takeout because there weren't any seats available around the counter. (Turns out there's additional seating around which would have been pleasant to know.) Paid about 60$ including tax & tip.
Here's where things went wrong.
It was around 6pm & they were already out of one of the three pasta dishes & couldn't do another one to go (seemed odd for a counter concept). So, I had one option + an extra off menu one. I ordered both available options. Waited 20 some minutes to receive the food but one of the pastas was missing. So I went back, to find out that that one item had never been punched. Mistakes happen, maybe the guy at the counter misheard me or whatever. In my eyes, the staff members seemed unbothered & unapologetic though. So overall I had: 25$ for a pasta, 14$ for a zucchini flower appetizer & 7$ for a bottle of water, 15% tax & 15% tip.
The food was okay but not worth the price. The 3 fried zucchini flowers were fried but not stuffed & served with mayo. They were fairly bland. Same for the pasta; very small portion for 25$ & bland once again.
Generally, there is a lot of room for improvement in the ordering process & for the food itself. But I personally will not be back, which is unfortunate because I'd been wanting to try the food for a while now.
