Nous avions beaucoup d'attentes pour ce resto & malheureusement nous avons été plutôt déçus :( Nous y sommes allés pour mon anniversaire, en ayant l'intention de se gâter, mais finalement on est repartis en se disant qu'on aurait peut-être dû aller ailleurs. La bouffe était bien, poisson frais de qualité, les assiettes étaient belles, mais rien ne nous a fait tomber en bas de notre chaise niveau goût. Mais outre la nourriture, ce qui nous a surtout déçus c'était le service. Nous étions quatre, deux de nous ont commandé l'omakase 5 services (4 plats salés & un dessert), j'ai commandé le plateau dégustation sushis, qui vient avec une entrée de soupe miso & d'edamame, puis j'ai ajouté une entrée de gyozas. Mon ami a pour sa part commandé deux entrées & un plat principal. Tous nos services sont arrivés à des moments différents, ce qui a fait en sorte qu'on mangeait chacun notre tour, alors que les autres n'avaient rien à manger. Même si nous avions tous des menus différents ça aurait été apprécié d'essayer de coordonner le tout pour qu'on puisse manger ensemble, & non pas séparément chacun notre tour. On a dû redemander plusieurs fois nos cocktails parce que la serveuse oubliait, j'ai demandé un verre de vin que je n'ai jamais reçu. Je comprends que ce genre d'erreurs peut arriver quand on est débordés, mais le resto était pratiquement vide... En plus, le busboy a échappé du bouillon sur les shorts beiges de mon conjoint en débarrassant la table. On nous a rien offert pour compenser cette erreur. Bref, pour deux personnes avec des menus dégustations, deux cocktails & une demi bouteille de saké, la facture s'élève à 497$ (avec pourboires). À ce prix là, on espère avoir un service plus attentionné & professionnel.View more

Great experience here at Park resto. Starting with what i did not like: the seats were too close together. Given that the floor space of the restaurant is very small, the owners decided to pack as many tables as possible & thus we were sitting back to back with other clients. Table was small too. What we loved: Their wagyu sando was simply exquisite. Tender, melt in your mouth & simply a fantastic dish. The Galbi Jjim was so tender & flavorful, it felt like heaven in the mouth. I didn't much like the kimchi dumplings, they are overpriced & probably pre-frozen. Overall a good restaurant.View more

We live around the corner & it's a shame we haven't been noticing this place while passing by! I searched a place to celebrate our anniversary in the Top 100 restaurant list & that's how we found Park which has constantly been winning top places in that chart. What a nice place! Very high ceiling provides a great volume to the space, & I can't wait to see their summer patio which will be open soon. Faye, the hostess, was amazing, friendly, she noted our small requests (allergies & anniversary) & the profiteroles came in style with a chocolate Happy Anniversary on it. Well, I should also mention cocktails, they were just above & beyond, & the food, of course, was splendid. I loved the decor because we didn't want a super fancy snobbish place, & Park welcomes you in style but also gives a regular feeling like you've been here before & we'll certainly come back.View more

Unfortunately disappointing. The food was okay, but well below the quality you would expect for the price point. Very minimal selection of cocktails & sake by the glass. Tuna tartare was quite bad, but the nigiri was pretty good.View more

We arrived for our reservation quite early but we were still able to be seated immediately. Our waitress was very friendly & of course spoke both French & English. We enjoyed Edamame & Chicken Gyoza to start & then had the Park Maki & Bluefin Bluefin. The appetizers were good & the sushi was absolutely wonderful. Finally, we enjoyed an omakase dessert. Overall, it was a great experience & we would definitely return.View more

Went for lunch, their menu is well priced for the quality. I wouldn't recommend the lunch box even though it was good, because it doesn't reflect the level of the other dishes. Yes you get a bit of everything ( gyozas, sushi, rice & salad ) but it is average in terms of taste compared to the rest. Sushis are really fresh & original, take thay over the lunchbox in my opinion. Will definitely comeback for lunch or dinner !View more

Nous somme aller chez Park hier !(mardi) Entrée edamame & soupe miso,soupe était bonne mais sans plus. Le tartare de boeuf & tatakis. Le tartare manqué de punch.Les tatakis suggérer par le serveur étaient exquis le goût étais la. Le plateau,une fois arrivé à notre table mais quel beauté quel fraîcheur, les oursins étais extraordinairement succulent,nous avons pas réussi à terminer le plateau . I was looking forward trying this place, & what a better occasion for my partner's birthday. When making the reservation it asked me if it was for an special occasion & I wrote it was for a birthday. When we arrived it took a bit of time to get welcomed but I understand it gets busy. When I said I had the reservation the hostess turned & looked around & said is this table okay? Not that I was expecting much but if this place is that popular I would've expected at least a little reserved note on the table or something it was more like a casual place & he was checking what tables were empty to give me. Why did I even put down 35$ per person to reserve a place where It clearly seems like an average restaurant that you can just walk-in. We got seated down like sardines in the middle of two tables were we could just hear their whole conversation of both tables, almost even share the food at this point. Service was quick & food was good but nothing extraordinary. Now, I'm not expecting a cake or a show or even a free dessert when I mention in my reservation that I'm celebrating someone's birthday. However the fact that it wasn't even awknoledge that it was someone's birthday at all really disappointed me, not even a hey happy birthday...honestly average for what they charge & for the hype of this place. I feel like they are so many other places in montreal that you can get way better food,service & quality for that price that I would not recommend this place for special occasions at all.View more
