Waitress ruined a good experience. We ordered a bunch of different skewers. They forgot to give us 2 mushrooms skewers which was fine. We let them know we didn't receive them when we asked for our bill. They refused to take it off & basically accused us of eating & forgetting. It's not even about the price because it was an extra $5 bucks on a bill of $170. It was the fact she thought we don't know what mushrooms look & taste like. Good food but lots of other similar options in Montreal with likely better service. Will not be returning.Voir plus

Went with a group of six & were sat right away, however it took a while for the server to come & take our order. When he finally came by, we ordered food & he didn't suggest a larger portion size seeing as we were six people. Albeit, we could've asked for how much food to expect for what we ordered, but we didn't expect to have to wait 30 minutes for 4 skewers, & another 30 minutes for the server to check up on us so we could order more food. This trend repeated itself over & what could've been a quick hour & a half meal turned into 3 hours of waiting for the server to stop taking shots at the bar & see us, just for us to leave hungry. Ordered a bunch of skewers & the only noteworthy ones were the short ribs & chicken thigh with green onion. The short rib had the best char. The chicken thigh, chicken wing, unagi, beef tongue were all very bland.Voir plus

Ordered the Otto set, beef tongue & truffle karrage. The yakitori was very plain, not much flavour. Beef tongue was super chewy. The karrage was good but it had no truffle flavour. Would just recommend getting normal karrage.Voir plus

The food was okay but the service was disappointing. If you guys are busy, consider hiring more servers or providing proper training. The servers looked tired all the time

Très bon restaurant japonais de brochettes & de plats typiques (pas de sushi). Nous avons goûté beaucoup de brochettes différentes, le calamar grillé est succulent !
Certains ont pris un Bibimpap, qu'ils ont trouvé très bon également.
Le personnel est sympathique (non francophone mais ils comprennent) & très serviable.
L'addition est correcte pour la qualité (environ 40$ taxes incluses par personne)

Unfortunately, despite the good food, they engage in illegal practice of charging a group booking fee of $350!!
A restaurant that sets a fee in advance with the aim of charging it if the customer does not show up for their reservation is an illegal practice. Pursuant to section 11.4 of the Quebec Consumer Protection Act, no provision may exclude the application of articles 2125 & 2129 of the Civil Code of Québec.
I understand that since Covid no shows are a real problem, but $350 is bad practice. I will remove this review once the restaurant resolves this issue.Voir plus
