Afficher toutbreakfast(45) brunch(29) cafe(18) recommend(13) egg(13) toast(12) potatoes(10) busy(9) coffee(8) generous(8) options(7) benedict(7)Great breakfast place. Service is fast. Food is good. Price is reasonable. However, it gets really busy so they expect you to eat & go. You can't stay & talk too long unless you order more.
We had not visited this restaurant for a long time so it was time a return! The interior is quite dark but there is plenty of seating, mainly on banquets. Service was prompt & efficient, with an extensive menu. The coffee was ok but serving latte in a glass cup seems to be a trend which I find strange. Anyway, the shakshuka was really good & spicy, while my wife had the traditional cooked breakfast. The sausages were excellent apparently! Overall we enjoyed the experience so we'll be back.
I stopped by Orange Café for brunch. The food was good, classic comfort brunch fare, though not particularly exceptional. If I'm in the area & craving this type of meal, I would happily return, but it's not somewhere I would make a special trip for.
The staff were polite & courteous, which made the visit pleasant. Overall, a solid choice for people who enjoy traditional Quebec-style comfort breakfast & brunch dishes.
I can really say that Me & my family enjoyed our breakfast to the max as the food was delicious the services was nice & pleasant & the atmosphere is so cozy .....& the owner Ed was very welcoming to my family that we're definitely going to make this a traditional Breakfast spot moving forward....thank you for making our experience amazing A+
A little noisy, but we'll worth it! Breakfast was spot on, fresh & delicious. I had classic eggs benny, very nice! Service was great even though they were packed when we were there.
Lovely staff always, William que me hable en espanol, me gusta mucho eso. Passionate about the spanish language. Cedric always so lovely. Food is tasty but would be nicer less black on the breakfast potatoes. Here here Orange Cafe !
This establishment is top tier. I went on a quiet day (wednesday) & then their busiest day & time, saturday at 12. The food was the same quality. The staff is onpoint. They have a childrens' memu, coloring books & markers. (The childrens' burger is massive btw.)
There are not much dairyfree options though. 😓
Their prices are reasonable. I intend on going back again & again. Great for big reservations as well as a party of 1. There's an all day bar, great smoothies & every option of breakfast & brunch option.
Thank you Orange Café 🥂🫶🏿
Orange is possibly the best value for breakfast, brunch & lunch in the city (I've never been for dinner). The prices are reasonable, or as reasonable as possible these days, the food is delicious & the potions are extremely generous. For example, HUGE omelettes come with fruit, potato, bread & coffee... it's a significant amount of food for an average price of $18.95. You walk out feeling satisfied & not cheated, like at many other places these days.
Service is great, very friendly staff & always happy to accommodate the customers. It's very conveniently located with parking all around. It's worth going!
Food was just ok. Was a little greasy, but comforting.
Had the big breakfast. Bacon, eggs, ham, French toast, potatoes, & a crepe.Service was great.
I went many years without eating here because the quality had degraded, I came back last year & it was totally different for the better. But my experience today has me completely turned off once again. Quality of the food has gone down, particularly the breakfast potatoes. Creton was inedible. Service also left much to be desired. A table of 4 received one coffee refill & zero water refills during the hour plus we were there. When we went to pay the bill, we received no thanks or a goodbye as we were leaving the restaurant.
You would be best served eating elsewhere for breakfast.
LOVE THIS SPOT! the food is amazing & the prices are reasonable, service is quick. one of my favourite breakfast spots in montreal. portions are generous
Best breakfast I had in a very long time! So good I thought about it for the rest of the day.
Orange Café truly shines with its delectable dishes, offering generous portions of freshly prepared breakfast favorites that consistently impress. The service is attentive & efficient, even on busy weekends, ensuring a welcoming experience for all patrons. The cozy ambiance provides a warm & inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a meal amidst the bustling charm of Montreal's Notre-Dame-de-Grâce neighborhood.
Today I went to the Orange Cafe On Decarie with my two friends. It happened to be the Day of Trump's inauguration. The waitress had us right underneath the TV screen. We all ordered breakfast dishes. I had the Mexican omelet my friend had the waffles, & my other friend had avacado toast. My omelet was delicious. It included a soup. Both my friends enjoyed their food as well. The dishes included unlimited coffee. This was my fourth time at this restaurant. The waitress was friendly & the service was good. It has a nice ambience. It's a well known establishment on the west side. The portions are generous as well. I would recommend this place.
This was my second visit to Orange Cafe. The first time was on a weekend & the place was buzzing & the breakfast was solid. This morning was far from the first experience. Our breakfast arrived barely warm with the exception of the potatoes. The butter was still on the cold toast. Unfortunately, the waitress barely passed by considering it was not very busy for a Monday at 10am. So we did not get a chance to inform her of the situation. She came to fill up our coffee by the time we were more than halfway done eating. What a disappointment!
This is a warm, welcoming local eatery with delicious meals & a fantastic kids' menu that makes it affordable to take a family out for breakfast/brunch. I love the different eggs benedicts & the kids eat everything on their plates. Portions are generous & service is friendly.
Great restaurant as usual ive been coming here for years. Great bread & enjoyed my breakfast great price point too!
It's very rare to find a place that feels like home...especially when your a tourist. We arrived from Melbourne the day before & Orange Cafe was our first breakfast...& we were hooked. The incredible big breakfasts, the easy parking, the super friendly staff (shoutout to Cheng, Will & Nick) & of course the legendary owner Ed. We ended up visiting a few more times whilst in Montreal & now back in Australia, I'm hard pressed to find anything close to Orange Cafe. Merci to you all, thanks for putting so much love in what you do. It was much appreciated PS: we will be back!!
