Peter-Oliver was so knowledgeable about the menu & a great host! The Peking duck was a highlight & the scallops, the food ordered was for 3 people & the portions were good & not too small. Would highly recommend for a weekday dinner or a nice date spot tooView more
Great place. Could be excellent with a bit more refinement. The food was excellent, service pretty good, atmosphere pretty good, mocktails very underwhelming. We had the soft shell crab bao buns, friend shrimp & calamari, 5 spice duck & the seafood chow mein. I would happily get any of those dishes again. I highly recommend the bao buns, 5 spice duck & chow mein. Really great quality food! The mocktails were expensive & I would have been just as happy with a water. It lacked flavour & dimension. I was so underwhelmed I didn't have more than a sip or two. The service was friendly but could have been more knowledgeable & attentive. Given my drink was 4/5 full the whole dinner, the waitress could have at least asked if I liked it let alone offer to spruce it up or change it. Overall I would happily go back but would stick to water, sake or wine to drink.View more
Everything was great! Nice staff & design. The food was really really good! I recommend the duck, it was cooked to perfection. The squid was fresh & perfect. The sauce of the sweet n sour ribs, I could litterally take a bath in it. I'm gonna go back for sure. *****View more
Strongly recommend this to anyone. The service is stellar & I really felt welcomed at the restaurant. The food is well made & delicious. Chef Lee is doing a great job & I will be coming back in the near future.View more
Hands down, our favourite dining experience in Montreal! Very unique Asian fusion menu, delicious food, lovely intimate ambience, & spectacular service. They were super accommodating of my partner's peanut allergy, & we even met the chef Andersen Lee who was super kind & humble. They also added a special touch for my birthday which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a nice night out or celebrating a special occasion. We'll definitely be back :) P.S. If you're from Toronto, think Sunny's Chinese but the MTL version!View more
Cute hipster Chinese food. It's nice to have Chinese food be seen as more than cheap take out. I like some of the creativity they've taken with flavors while being familiar still. However the price & quantity you get is a little outrageous. It's Tapas style so you order & share as is typical with Chinese cuisine except you pay a heck of a lot more so if you're hungry. Be warned. The entrees & apps are a better deal. The spicy salmon rice came & tofu dip were really good & decently priced for its quantity. The hot pot for example, per person is definitely not enough as a main meal. Even if you were to eat it alone. The duck at I think 50$ isn't even a full duck. I don't regret it but I'm not sure I would recommend it or go more than once.View more
I had the soy marinated deviled eggs, sweet & sour eggplant, & & the spicy noodles. The deviled eggs & eggplant were incredibly delicious, seriously amazing & can't recommend enough. The noodles were good but not amazing, felt like they could have had a better flavor. The service was impeccable & ambiance was great. Highly recommend this place!View more
Solid spot, I'd recommend sticking to the small plates over the larger dishes & having a lot of variety. The eggplants & the scallops were the show stoppers.View more
Great atmosphere & service. Our waiter recommended the duck which we had with spicy noodles & greens with garlic. All were fantastic. We started with the calamari which was the best we'd ever had. A great place we'd highly recommend.View more
Honestly one of my favourite dining experiences in the city. Everything was extremely tasty & perfectly prepared from start to finish. We had the deviled eggs, the shrimp & pork wonton soup, the eggplant side, the sea bream & the French toast for dessert. The sea bream & French toast were my two favourite dishes but everything was SO good. Plus, it's a really pleasant setting with nice lights & decor (hence why all the pics are bright red). Highly recommend, & will be back!!View more
The environment is nice, & i enjoyed the comfortable chairs, bar & table size (sturdy & wide). Bone marrow & petoncles were definitely a highlight. However, while the food isnt bad it wasnt anything remarkable in my opinion. i would not particularly recommend.View more
