sandwich(91) breakfast(72) salad(70) cheese(63) coffee(63) brunch(52) busy(46) ricotta(42) fresh(40) panini(39) cuban(38) pastries(38)An absolute gem of a place! Wonderful fresh food - the soup was amazing, the cinnamon bun huge & tasty, & the salmon salad bowl wonderfully tasty. It was busy but the service was fast & efficient - would happily return!
Amazing place to get brunch. It is worth the wait if there is a line & the entire staff is attentive & friendly. Food & drinks are great. I would go back if staying in Montreal again.
Such a good place to get some items for breakfast! Highly recommend it! We want to try to dine in next time!
O LA LA 🥰🦚 Satisfyingly delicious 😋 Until we meet again & again & again 🥰🦚 Thank you Rem ❤️
Nice & cozy place, but overrated. Food is nothing extraordinary, at least 30 minutes waiting to be seated & rushed to finish.
65$ for two paninis is insane. They were good, place is very packed almost uncomfortable & you have to wait to get a place because it's such a hyped location. Cute place but won't go back because of the insane prices.
Vraiment un très bel endroit où déjeuner ou bien dîner, je recommande fortement!
Don't waste your time, terrible tourist trap in the old montreal. Extremely over hyped & more than overpriced.
Went there for breakfast. Very cute place! All tables are joined together so that 4 people sit together even if from different parties. We tried to wiggle our table further away but the server just slid it right back. We saw other people trying the same. No intimacy or private conversations allowed. Overall servers were either having a collectively bad morning, or the vibes are off as they looked angry & were inpatient. Food was good, but really expensive for the size. 7$ for a very small freshly squeezed orange juice.
O+G truly lives up to the hype - in terms of name recognition, wait time, & the cozy sense of community that comes with being packed in like sardines. You'll also have the chance to brush up on your French skills as you attempt to explain to your waitress (in vain) that you're craving something warm, not a fancy-named cold sandwich that's been dead for a while. & as a bonus, you'll get to admire the waitress's extensive tattoo collection, a true masterpiece of body art that will make you appreciate the effort you put into trying to order something hot! & - almost forgot! - the soothing sound that mimics the meows of the namesake cats, Olive or Gourmando. You'll be wondering which cat is calling out for help - until you realize it's just the washroom door continuously opening in the middle of the room.
Good quality breakfast in a very quaint restaurant. Minus one star for tourist prices.
Nourriture & vienoiserie excellentes !!
Overrated! I didn't like the porch on your face sandwich wasn't that good I even finish the half & left the other half the coffee was ok not that good either otherwise the service fine the staff were friendly
I hadn't been there in about a year, so I was very excited to have their legendary grilled cheese sandwich, which I always loved. Unfortunately, it was beyond disappointing. Completely different. Tiny portion, less cheese, barely any onions, less tasty & unsubstantial bread. For the price, I felt ripped off. It's not right to charge that much considering the portion & quality. In the past, I had no issue paying the steep price because the sandwich was fantastic. I hope the restaurant considers going back to the original.
$30 for a panini with a side of attitude. I guess server training is not needed anymore when you have a cookbook.
Service & food was impeccable. One of the highlights of my trip to Montreal. I'll be back!
C était vraimrnt délicieux !!! le délai d attente tel qu on nous l avait dit, super service & belle 1ere expérience 😊
