I've been a loyal customer since ÔFauria was still in downtown, I bought pastries & cakes regularly & recommended the store to so many of my friends. To my surprise, this year they charge more if you want to sit & enjoy the food at the restaurant. I bought 3 plain croissants & 2 cappuccino & was shock when the bill was close to 40$!!! Almost double the price if I bought them to go! I'm very disappointed with this new price system.

Dès qu'on franchit la porte, on est immédiatement séduit par l'atmosphère chaleureuse & conviviale du lieu. Le décor, à la fois moderne & élégant, crée une ambiance apaisante où l'on se sent bien, que ce soit pour un café rapide ou une pause sucrée entre amis.
L'accueil est toujours personnalisé & souriant : l'équipe prend le temps de conseiller & de partager sa passion, ce qui rend chaque visite encore plus agréable. Les produits, quant à eux, sont tout simplement délicieux. Les viennoiseries sont fraîches & croustillantes, les gâteaux finement équilibrés entre saveur & légèreté, & les pâtisseries signatures révèlent un savoir-faire exceptionnel. On sent clairement que tout est fait avec amour & une attention particulière portée aux détails & aux ingrédients. On essayé Milles feuilles, éclair Paris-Brest, gâteau chocolat croustillant & le croissant chocolat amandes.
Que ce soit pour une occasion spéciale ou simplement pour se faire plaisir, Ofauria est le choix parfait. Chaque bouchée est une invitation au bonheur, & on ressort de cette pâtisserie avec le sourire & l'envie d'y revenir très vite.

We have been regular customers at this pastry shop in Laval for quite some time, & it has always been one of our favorite places to get croissants & other treats. Unfortunately, during our recent visits, we've noticed a concerning decline in cleanliness & hygiene practices.
Last Saturday morning, I went in as usual to buy my croissant. The employee who came to serve me had been cleaning while wearing blue gloves. She then came directly to the counter & started putting my order into the bag without changing her gloves. This is not the first time we've noticed similar behavior - employees handling money & food with the same gloves, which is simply unacceptable.
We truly enjoy your pastries & want to continue supporting this business, but proper hygiene is essential in any food establishment. We hope management takes this feedback seriously & improves food safety practices moving forward.
J'ai relevé plusieurs problèmes de taille: le patron qui tousse sur les paniers de croissants (dégueulasse!), un employé qui fume avec ses gants de travail, la vaisselle sale (morceaux de nourriture collés) & quand je suis passé à la caisse, la vendeuse m'a dit de ne pas laisser de pourboire car les patrons gardent cet argent pour eux. Je laisse du tip pour encourager les personnes qui me servent & non pas pour que cet argent soit volé par les employeurs! Quelle honte! C'est totalement illégal! Je ne reviendrais plus pour toutes les raisons énoncées. & je n'appellerai pas à la boutique car j'ai déjà échangé avec vous & vous êtes arrogante & méprisante.
A true taste of French baking at the heart of Laval! The actual location does not provide a lot of scenery yet inside it is a feeling of being in a French coffeehouse in Paris. The cakes are shaped in art form. I had breakfast. The only issue I had is that the croissant got wet from the sauce which should have been put aside
Super nice endroit ou l'en peut prendre le temps pour un bon café avec un bon croissant & en bonne compagnie, j'y vais a chaque fin de semaine, le prix n'est pas donné mais on a *le meilleur ouvrier de France là.

Quality of their pastries went down while they are overpriced. We bought chocolate croissant (no flakiness, no chocolate, worse than a supermarket mass produced). Raspberry croissant had so much filling that became bitter, with no crispness whatsoever.
Malheureusement, des attentes très élevées non rencontrées.
2 bûches de Noël pour 150$ avec pas ou peu de goût, des croissants & pains au chocolat gras & pas les meilleurs que j'ai pu goûter par ici.
Une déception de mon côté.
