Nice place with excellent coffee & helpful shopkeeper. However the music in the coffee shop is too loud. I told the staff that they usually fix it immediately, but the music gets very noisy as soon as the track changes.
I got the strawberry milk latte (no coffee) & it was yummy. Wish there was more milk than ice cubes. Fast service. Small but cute atmosphere. Would go back to try their dalgona iced latte :)

The espresso is simply outstanding: well-balanced roast, rich aroma, & silky texture. The matcha is equally impressive-vibrant, creamy, & never bitter-a rare find in Montreal. The service is warm & attentive, always delivered with a smile. Each morning, locals drop by for a coffee & croissant on their way to work, or take a moment to sit outside & enjoy the peaceful vibe.
The café itself is bright & beautifully designed, inviting you to take a well-deserved break. It's a perfect example of a community-rooted business that adds soul to the neighborhood. More than just a coffee shop, Nous sommes café is a cozy meeting point, a place you can trust for quality & atmosphere. On top of it they always have an inspiring sentence on the cup to begin the day with a good vibe.
Beautiful interior. Space is super clean & picturesque. Barista on duty was friendly. Lemon ginger tea & the oreo cookie were really delicious. However, the mocha fell a little short. I thought I'd give it a shot after hearing it was good, despite knowing they use chocolate syrup instead of real chocolate. In hindsight, I should have opted for something else (especially because I know I personally prefer real chocolate in my mocha's). At $7 plus tip it didn't live up to my expectation. Overall, I would still recommend this place as I'm sure their other coffee based drinks would be a lot better. They have a really nice area upstairs to study & do work.
The Barista was very sweet & the coffee was great & of my taste! Although, the interior is very questionable? Its bright white & not much of a welcoming environement to study, the socks too?
the matcha latte broke my heart. it was made way too milky & weak the first time & the barista was kind enough to remake it. the second time it was lumpy, not smooth, & had a poor mouth feel. i appreciated the effort, & my partners coffee was alright. for their price i expect more.

Not sure about the coffee, but I had a matcha affogato, which I didn't even know was a thing. With ice cream & matcha being two of my favourite things, it blew my mind. 5 stars.
Good coffee, friendly service & a really nice location on the pedestrian section of Prince Arthur. & it's really great that their cups are commercially compostable & the caps are #5 plastic recyclable, but all they offer for disposal is one garbage bin - & we all know where that ends up. Sustainably matters to me in my choice of products, please step up the effort. Thank you.
