Came here when I first got into Montreal since I was craving some noodle soup - this place certainly delivered! I ordered the spicy noodle soup, which I think was great on all fronts: noodles, broth, & beef were all excellent. While the shop is quite small, service is quite fast so you really aren't waiting around for long at all. If you're looking for a quick, no frills lunch/dinner in Chinatown, this is the place to do it.
La comida es deliciosa, la espera vale la pena. La atención es rápida y amable. Probé el plato de tendón, la carne tenía MUY buen sabor. Los noodles con la consistencia perfecta. Excelente opción al visitar la zona. Los platos son grandes y la porción abundante. No tiene aire acondicionado, pero no afecta la experiencia.
Absolutely fantastic. Do it, even if you're not sure what to order. The staff will guide you through & it will be best bowl of noodles of your life. Unless you are ravenous get the small; portions are appropriately huge.
The food & service are excellent but I must say that the place is ok. The space is very tight & small, you cannot really enjoy your stay too long here.

One of the busiest restaurants in China Town. Line was outside restaurant. Waited for 40 some minutes, it was worth the hype. High food quality, delicious, huge portion, & reasonable price.
No tome foto porque tenía mucha hambre, pero los noodles Dan Dan están deliciosos. La porción mediana en combo fue suficiente para dos personas. Nosotros lo pedimos con edamames, que también están muy ricos.
fast, affordable, & delicious. wish i could eat dan dan noodles everyday. we didn't have an issue with tipping like other reviewers mentioned…in canada, tipping servers is a common courtesy.
I'm thinking about going again now that I am writing the review. Food is'calm' & hearty. We've ordered the medium sized vegetarian noodle soup, the size is HUGE, enough for two people, the noodles are chewy & delicious. For a very long time, gluten in a dish did not upset me I don't know why, my stomach was happy for the rest of the day too! Once you try it, you feel a pat on your back, like everything is going to be okay, flavor is just enough, I wouldn't recommend this dish for people who want a spiced up dish with mixed flavors though.

Super bons & authentiques plats de nouilles chinoises. 2 jours à Montréal, on a mangé là-bas tous les 2 jours. On a pu essayer 3 plats différents : dandan, zhajiang & nouilles au boeuf. Tout est super bon & me rappelle les bonnes odeurs de cuisine chinoise quand j'étais en Chine. On y retournera sûrement dès que nous avons l'occasion d'aller à Montréal.

Attente à l'extérieur, mais bien gérée & service très rapide en salle. Nouilles faites à la main, au fur & à mesure avec choix de 7 tailles, bouillon exquis, garniture variée & savoureuse.
J'ai goûté la soupe végétarienne, très parfumée, modérément épicée.
Attention, les portions sont très généreuses. La taille'L' est pour les très gros appétits !
