I recently visited Our Place in Montreal & had the pleasure of trying their Karam Podi Dosa, Chicken Dum Biryani, & Mutton Dum Biryani. The flavors were absolutely delicious! The Karam Podi Dosa had a perfect blend of spices, & the crispy texture was delightful. The Chicken Dum Biryani was rich & fragrant, with tender pieces of chicken perfectly cooked in flavorful rice. The Mutton Dum Biryani, too, was exceptional - the meat was juicy, & the spices well-balanced, making every bite memorable. If you're craving authentic Indian cuisine, this is the place to be!
The mutton biryani was flavorful with tender meat, a perfect balance of spices, & an aromatic fragrance. The portion was generous & well-presented. Chicken 65 was crispy with a good spice level but could have been more tender. Overall, both dishes were satisfying, with slight room for improvement texture. Rating: Mutton Biryani 4/5, Chicken 65 4/5.
I had a great time eating delicious food at your restaurant & all the staff were committed to great service & were very friendly, 🥰🥰secondly the atmosphere of the restaurant was very awesome & 🥰🥰🥰I definitely enjoyed & liked that your have a very traditional style. Most importantly, every food & all the drink & desserts on your menu tasted & great❤️❤️❤️❤️!
We tried Onion rava dosa, which is a delightful twist on the traditional dosa, characterized by its crispy texture & savory flavor. The food here is absolutely incredible! It's hands down one of the best places I've ever had South Indian cuisine. The flavors are authentic.It f you're in downtown Montreal & have a craving for delicious South Indian food, you have to make a stop at this place.
It was a pleasure being at'Our Place' last evening for dinner. The ambience, the personalised service & the food were all great. A good place for South Indian food when away from home.
The Resturant was spot on. Right from the ambience to food it was mind blowing. Also the person who is single handedly taking care of the restaurant is very welcoming. I would recommend everyone to come here & taste the food which will feel just like your home.
Have ordered Masala dosa & Poori Masala two times via Ubereats & liked the dosa & the Poori Masala. However, noticed that there was a foul stench coming from the sambhar like the ones from a washroom. I urge the owners to take action on getting this addressed & i tried it twice to check if it was just me who felt it but my husband too confirmed that it was repulsive though the taste of the sambhar wasnt bad but we couldnt take chances as what smells bad aint good for eating as well. So had to manage eating the dosa with two chutneys as the third chutney provided was a sweet ginger one which was not to my liking. Loved the taste of dosa & poori masala, however the stench of the sambhar has been a put off & i would consider reordering if they could rectify the same. I had provided feedback in Uber as well but not sure if it was received.

Great food & friendly staff. We did a take out, & sitting in the restaurant being in the midst of such yummy food enjoyed by others around us got us really hungry 😄
