Notre Endroit / Our Place is widely praised for authentic South Indian flavours, especially the variety of dosas, fresh chutneys, and flavorful biryanis, with many enjoying the crisp texture of dosas and the generous portions. The staff and service are often described as warm, attentive, and welcoming, contributing to a memorable experience even when the kitchen is busy. The menu offers gluten free and vegetarian options, and the weekend buffet and thali are frequently highlighted as strong value with lots of choices. However, several reviews point to inconsistencies in taste and quality, with some dishes being too salty or oily, others lacking salt or depth, and a few orders missing items or arriving incomplete. Ambience and hygiene receive mixed comments, ranging from a simple, casual setting to moods of uneven cleanliness on busy nights. Overall, Notre Endroit / Our Place seems to be a reliable option for traditional Indian fare with standout dosas and biryanis, but experiences can vary in seasoning, consistency, and service.
Service was welcoming. Thali portion was more than enough. Food itself could have been a little fresher for a Friday night. Will I go back? Yes…for the dosa.
Just visited here, i might guess her name right, Randeep offered excellent service; she was attentive, professional, & ensured we had a great experience.
Dosas are simply amazing.. we have mutton biryani & it is far better than Toronto biryani places.. we were thrilled by this place after having authentic Indian food.. Dani puri with pav bhaji curry is awesome
Absolutely teriffic! This chef deserves the attention of the culinary media : this is not just excellent South Asian cuisine. The chef has added his own subtle , & in my fairly extensive experience with Indian cuisine as a non Indian, spice shadings to each dish that amplify the taste experience & engage the taste buds in a "Whoa! This is REALLY GOOD!" There is a lot of very serviceable Indian restaurant food out there. This is something more.
La cuisine était excellente...vraiment un des bons restaurants Indien que j'ai mangé. Le service...vraiment dommage mais la petite fille ne comprenait pas le français.
