Finding this South Indian place we decided to give it a try. The dosas & utthapam were good but the chicken & lamb vindaloo were lacking the taste we expected. Ambience is nice & service was good.
Stopped here for lunch on Friday. Excellent food & great service. We had the veg thali & a Mysore malasa dosa. Both were absolutely delicious. Would repeat in a heartbeat.
Chef Shreenath curated one of the best food experiences I have had. Nicely made dosa, uttapam, podi idly, sambhar & finest coconut chutney ever had. Highly recommended. The place could use some better air conditioning though

This is the first time that I am visiting but became my favourite spot. Gobi Manchuria, chicken 65, chicken fried rice, ravva dosa, Mutton biryani are the must try ones especially for south Indians.

We tried the paneer tikka, rawa dosa & mysore masala dosa. All 3 were solid. If you are going here & haven't ever tried a dosa, I would recommend you to try it here. They make the most crispy, yet soft dosas. Will be coming back for sure 😊
Great South Indian food with some Hakka dishes. We loved the variety of South Indian options that ranged from Kottu Paratha to Idli. The dosa selection is extensive with a 5-feet dosa that is sure to steal the show. We loved all the appetizers we tried, especially the manchurian gobi & chicken 65! The mango lassi is exceptional here, I had two because it was that good! The chef is well known for his South Indian cooking & started his career in a well known South Indian institution in Montreal before opening up his own place. Definitely a nice addition in downtown Montreal
The list of dishes we tried seemed endless but each exquisitely prepared by our very experienced chef. We tried our best to pace ourselves during the appetizers but they were difficult to resist. The exciting dance of complex flavours on the tongue were too tempting to excersize any restraint whatsoever in sampling everything served to us. By the time we reached the giant 3-foot Dosa we knew we had passed our limit long ago & yet, could not stop. Even ordering dessert afterwards. Speaking of which, this was my first time trying Falooda. I loved it & enjoyed discovering a new (to me) dessert. Overall it is a wonderful, comfortable restaurant with an excellent menu, friendly, helpful staff in a very central & accessible location. We will visit again soon!
One of the best fine dining experience in Montreal that no others has it... incredible dosas & naans..must try their lamb biryani(one & only best in Canada) & chicken65 is another top notch thing there... Good vibe for dating experience with such a dim light professional platform restaurant ...it became my to go regular restaurant in core downtown...
Chili chicken is out of the world! Masala dosa was really nice & filling as well. The price is great for the big portions.
I got masala dosa. Taste is not bad, could be a bit more crunchy. Quantity for dosa is fine but sambhar is too less. Overall 3/5
This was the first South Indian place I visited in the city ... absolutely loved it ! Dosas - 5/5 Biriyani chicken - 4/5 Kottu parantha - 4.5/5
Masala dosa was burnt, chilly pakora tasted stale. However their idlis are great!
Food is excellent. We had the Mysore Masala dosa & the cheese uppadam. Both delicious. The chutneys are flavorful & a great accompaniment. I would highly recommend this place.
Lekhika Himanshu Srinadh cooks up an excellent meal at Our Place. Service is fast & very friendly. Highly recommend the dosas.
If looking for something light, you would really enjoy this place. Had kaaram Dosa, schezwan zinni Dosa. Both the dishes were delicious. Great place, Good staff. Parking is available on side street.
Amazing & authentic South Indian & North Indian food. We always get the podi idly & onion rava dosa! Our server Lekhika was really nice too.
