Le New City Gas raconte une histoire qui s’écrit depuis 1847. À l'époque, la New City Gas Company of Montreal utilisait le site pour transformer le charbon en gaz afin d'éclairer les rues de la métropole.
New City Gas se démarque dans la vie nocturne de Montréal par son énergie électrique, une production impressionnante et un son et un éclairage de premier ordre qui créent d'emblée une ambiance excitante. Le lieu attire de grandes foules, surtout lors des spectacles à guichets remplis, ce qui peut rendre la danse difficile et provoquer de longues files au vestiaire et au bar. Les boissons sont assez chères, mais l'accès VIP vaut souvent le coup pour faciliter l'entrée et gagner de l'espace. Dans l'ensemble, ce lieu est salué pour son ambiance, la qualité des DJ et l'expérience mémorable, bien que la gestion de la foule et certaines irrégularités de service soient fréquemment signalées comme des points à améliorer.
La boîte est assez sympa & grande. Par contre le staff & l'organisation c'est une honte. La file pour le vestiaire n'a aucun sens, j'ai attendu plus longtemps avec un vestiaire pré-payé que ceux sans ticket, ça n'a aucun intérêt de le prendre. Lors de la fin du show, il y a une sortie rapide pour les quelques VIP, & les autres doivent s'agglutiner dans les escaliers & faire tout le grand tour pour arriver au vestiaire (la encore, 2 vestiaires, mais une seule file commune, c'est complètement idiot). On a mis 35min a sortir. Le staff est tout simplement odieux & irrespectueux, je me suis fait mal parler & tirer par l'épaule pour me dire d'aller dans telle ou telle file alors qu'il n'y a aucune explication ou marquage. & l'apothéose : un peu poussé à bout je finis par élever la voix de mécontentement, la réponse fut immédiate. Le membre du staff a lancé l'appel de détresse sur sa radio, donc 8 autres membres ont débarqué sans poser de question pour m'empoigner & me diriger de force vers la sortie. Une fois que j'ai pu expliquer la situation au chef du staff ils se sont calmés & j'ai pu revenir dans la boîte. Mais choqué de la violence disproportionnée de leur réaction. Organisez-vous convenablement & virez vos cowboys, cela rendra l'expérience bien plus agréable pour vos clients

***I am happy to remove or change my review to 5 stars once the coat check system is fixed Putting a 1 star review to complain about the new coat check system that was put in place. It took us 1h30 to get out of the venue after the music was done at 3 am. This is horrendous. Hope that a fix will be implemented in time for New Year. *on New Year the Coat Check was a lot better & it was a lot faster when they did not use the machines
So! I came to this club on nye & lost my phone. Despite the frustration I decided I came to Montréal for a good time & I will forget about my phone for the moment. Every time I got a drink I asked if a phone had been returned, there was one (not mine) but each of them said to come back at 3am, so I did. Coming back I went through every bouncer at the front telling them I had lost my phone. Once I was inside I looked all around the floor & could not find it. They have these plastic buckets by the bar & my friend had told me she felt like I dropped my phone in the bucket along with my drink. Suddenly I had a flashback of that happening & told the manager, a bouncer brought me to the dishwashing room & it was not there. I then explained my coat check ticket was ALSO in my phone case. He brought me to the coat check & I had to wait for everyone else to get their coats. A lovely man working asked me why I was standing there & I explained my situation. He went to look for my phone in the dishwashing room again. He returned & walked by me not saying anything. BUT! I saw a phone in his hand & it was happily returned to me. The staff really helped me & it is greatly appreciated. Side note, my friend tipped one of the lady bartenders, she said that's not enough then tipped herself a hefty amount which i consider to be incredibly greedy & rude. So that's the only beef I have with club. Lastly, Markus Schulz played a fire set & I will be returning!
La meilleure place pour vivre votre expérience Rave à Montréal. Beaucoup de monde, mais la qualité sonore de la salle est incroyable! Les bières Corona sont pas chères & le personnel, très accueillant. Le show de Steve Aoki était fou raide!! Pour profiter de votre expérience au maximum, prévoyez de vous acheter des bouteilles d'eau ou breuvages dès l'ouverture des portes afin d'éviter l'achalandage lors du spectacle.
Went to see Adventure Club & also the New Year Markus Schulz show. The venue is cool, the sound is decent, the staff was all professional. A few notes: Some of the bartenders do not know English well, I ordered a Gin Soda, & was given a Grey Goose Soda with lemon juice (costs $3 more than what I wanted). Not a big deal, but it was annoying. The New Years event was extremely crowded, you could not move at all, packed full of people, it would have been better if there was less people. Giving it 4/5 cause the overcrowded New Years event was disappointing, otherwise the Adventure Club event was a 5/5.

My favorite party place , all the top global DJ such as Martin , David guetta , Tiesto , Timmy , Aoki all came here , MST ask all your friends share the table upstairs , with $3-4000 per table you ll have the best view & strongest alcohol for your drunky night with hyper music & much more fun
Overall a good experience It would be a full 5 stars if the drinks weren't absolutely off-the-wall priced. I mean 3 drinks for $81 with tip. A line needs to be drawn. I know it's a club, & it's supposed to be more expensive. But you also have to buy tickets ($32) each at least. I just think it's a little unnecessary to charge so much for drinks! Anyway, FYI, pre-drink before you go. P.S. Water isn't free; it's like $6 a bottle or something ludicrous. Oh, & I forgot to mention keeping the water in the bathrooms warm. Personally, I think it's a crime to do that. But here we are. But their $5 water or die of dehydration.
Excellent venue in Montreal - caters to the best names & has the best light system for a local venue - can get busy but the VIP tickets are worth the price
