If you have a sweet tooth & are walking around the Jean-Talon Market, this is a good stop to make to satisfy your cravings. It's about a 2-3 min walk from the Market itself but @nananamontreal is doing it right. They even do themed desserts like these ones we got for Easter & they were all amazing. The Bower desserts they have on hand at all times changes from season to season but the classics like the three we have here they mention always stay in constant rotation. Really well balanced flavours, everything you see you can tell took alot of hard work, testing & alot of trial & error to find that perfect bite. I loved the complexity of the green bower that had green apple, hazelnuts & black garlic, a really wild combo that just really hit. The purple one had some almond paste, blackberries & white chocolate. A solid combinations that is tried & true & last but not least the blue one. A classic trio of sea salt, caramel vanilla that always is a banger. If your in the area & or just passing by make sure to pick yourself up a couple. A little pricey but for a treat I'd say we'll worth it every now & then & for the work that goes into it!View more

It was so sweet to try out dessert shop Nanana that recently opened in Villeray! They're operated by the same owners as Ratafia!

I tried

- Mr Earl: My fave choux pastry with Earl Grey & apricot!
- Bowerbird: Look resembles a donut but texture is super light with a chocolate shell & interior like ice cream
- Fresh Coco: Aptly named with the coconut mousse & fresh apple & cucumber
- Kotone: Raspberry mousse with flavor reminiscent of goat's milk

The second time, I savored that orange blossom ice cream you can see me gasping "Ooh" over at the end.
