Had a really good experience at Nama Omakase + Sushi Restaurant. The sushi tasted fresh, well balanced, & you can tell a lot of attention goes into the presentation & quality of ingredients. Unlike many trendy spots, the sauces & toppings didn't overpower the fish, which made the omakase experience feel much more authentic. Service was attentive, the atmosphere was intimate & modern, & the pacing of the courses felt just right. Definitely on the pricier side, but worth trying if you enjoy higher-end sushi experiences in Montreal.

A truly excellent & enjoyable experience at Nama. We chose the premium omakase & were told it was 5 courses. The first course came with 3 different dishes & we thought that was 3 of 5 courses. Luckily, it was just the first course & by the time we had our dessert, we were stuffed. From the food to the atmosphere to the service, it was a 5 star experience (coming from someone who has had many omakase experiences & I've been to Japan- Japanese food is my favourite. I would classify this as fusion!)
My only criticism: I wish there was some uni as part of the set menu.

Great Omakase experience. The service was professional, helpful & efficient. We felt a but rushed in between plates. The food is really exceptional. The big negative point is the music. It was loud & that of a dance club, which for me, didnt go with the sophistication of the dining experience.

Overall, a very good time.

Nous sommes venus célébrer la Saint-Valentin & l'expérience a été exceptionnelle du début à la fin. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement : on a pris nos manteaux & on nous a accompagnés à notre table, ce qui donne tout de suite le ton. Le personnel a été à l'écoute toute la soirée, ce qui a rendue l'expérience inoubliable pour nous.

Le service était attentionné, professionnel & toujours à l'écoute. Quant au restaurant & à la nourriture, tout était tout simplement incroyable - autant la présentation que les saveurs.

Ayant eu la chance de visiter plusieurs restaurants étoilés Michelin à travers le monde, je peux dire sans hésiter que cet établissement se démarque. C'est une adresse où je retournerai avec grand plaisir.

Freshest ingredients I've had in Montreal! Fantastic food, we went for the special promotion they had on entrees annd martinis & we couldn't have had better. Only note is that their tables are quite small but, the rest is fantastic.

We loved Nama! It was amazing food & such a nice vibe inside. GREAT price for what we got & very friendly staff. The chefs were great. Will be coming back.
