We had the 12 course omakase for $98 & this was our first time having a'real' omakase experience in Montreal! Meaning that the chef actually made each course of nigiri in front of us & chatted with us the whole evening. Chef GaCong Ruan was super personable & friendly & not a single dish was a miss for us. You can tell that the chef & staff are just really passionate about food & making a memorable experience for their guests. Can't recommend enough!

(Edit to add: At the time of posting this review I think the menus online are out of date... I don't think there are multiple omakase price points.

Second edit: I was wrong! There are multiple omakases - apparently the other price points are dining room only, not counter service. Thanks for the clarification! )

One of the best restaurants in terms of service & food quality! We took the 12 course menu & were impressed by every sushi they would bring, it was phenomenal service from A to Z! At some point in the evening I was shazaming a song & one of the staff came to me to help me find the song! & told them in the beginning I'm celebrating an accomplishment for my husband & they brought a candle with a cake for him at the end, I already can't wait to come back again thank you very much!

We had an amazing time at Nama Omakase. We had originally planned to partake in the counter omakase experience, but were so hungry at 5PM so asked to be seated at a table. We chose the $130 Omakase meal & were delighted by the quality & quantity of the food. We were very satistfied & LOVED the interaction with the staff. Looking forward to coming back with my husband :-)

Une expérience absolument mémorable au coeur de Montréal. Chaque bouchée était une véritable oeuvre d'art, témoignant d'une maîtrise technique impressionnante.

Le poisson était d'une fraîcheur exemplaire, & la présentation sur ces assiettes en forme de coquillage turquoise est tout simplement magnifique. J'ai particulièrement apprécié la délicatesse des petites fleurs déposées sur le plat. C'est une adresse incontournable pour les amateurs de finesse.

We went here twice & tried both of the menus & had great food each time. The chef at the bar was super nice & made sure we understood everything we were being served. The flavour combinations they made were amazing. Overall, great experience both times. I would definitely go again!

Nous sommes venus ici pour célébrer notre 3e anniversaire de mariage. Un bon choix de qualité pour une occasion spéciale dans le Quartier International. Nous avons opté pour le menu à 135$ omakase / par personne. Tout était délicieux. On a bu 4 verres de bulles + un verre de vin rouge, total avec taxes/service 18% = 464,08$. Bon service professionnel & courtois des serveurs. La décoration est minimaliste & de bon goût, j'ai beaucoup aimé les luminaires. Clients satisfaits.
