Restaurant Mythos Ouzeri Estiatorio is a Greek hotspot on Parc Avenue in Mile-end, Montreal. A riotous bouzouki band is performing from Thursday to Sunday, encouraging diners to get up and dance on the dance floor (dancing on the tables is also common at Mythos).
Specialties include, fried bread with a pepper and feta cheese dip, mincemeat patties with mint combine with traditional lamb, seafood appetizers and main courses, fresh fish and more. Mythos Restaurant boats one of the finest Greek menus in Montreal. In the summer, the patio is a great spot also.

Words cannot express the warmth & charm of this authentic traditional Greek restaurant. There are so many levels of appreciation I derived from this experience. First: The abundant & energetic staff is amazingly attentive; always nearby, but never hovering, waiting to serve your every need at a moment's notice, immediately acknowledging even a mere glance or gesture. Then, there is the food. A plethora of traditional Greek staples, each of which are executed with precision & detail unmatched outside of Greece. The fresh ingredients, preparation, taste, & presentation are exquisite. Then, there is the ambiance, reminiscent of an auberge, the spacious bar, & dining room areas are warm & inviting. To top it off, there is live traditional Greek music engaging the guests, all of which combine to complete a very rare & uniquely satisfying dining experience. Highly recommend! BTW Waiter Kosta, together with the rest of the staff, is exceptional indeed! Don't forget to make a reservation, especially on weekends.

The food was good & tasted like it was home cooked but the half chicken was a little too salty.
The server gave my wife the wrong plate. She ordered the chicken breast & the server said well, don't worry about it, it's the same price rather than apologizing & didn't even compensate for it.
While the atmosphere is very Montreal & laid back Greek, it was loud at moments.
But the server, an older gentleman, really should not be a server. His personality is off-putting & arrogant. This the main reason we won't return

The amount of food was perfect. Delicious & well cooked. Soft ambiance, was able to have full conversations without any yelling or asking to repeat. The service was outstanding. Just to quick clarify we took the group meal for 4 while 2 others took simple meals. & even at that there was plenty, though it aint cheap. As a beer guy the choices weren't that many & a tad pricey for quality. Personally well worth it, though its a big bill.

Nous avons adoré notre expérience! Nous avons pris le menu de groupe (à partager), ce qui nous a permis de goûter à différents plats, & tout était tout simplement délicieux! La nourriture est goûteuse, savoureuse & les portions sont parfaites. Nous avons été servis par Peter, un serveur comique & aux bons soins! Le prix valait l'expérience! :)

Service correct & sympa, personnel sympa & accueillant, nous avons une réservation du groupe le vendredi 25/07 & on était trop nombreux & tous des personnes avec plein de questions concernant la nourriture & les choix, le personnel (serveur qui nous a servi) était très sympa, professionnel & surtout patient 5☆ !!
La nourriture était correcte, des choix de viande & poisson !!
La musique était un peu trop forte, (pour faire la fête 🤷🏻?♀?😅)

My real rating is between 3 & 4
We ordered the trio dips which were good.
They don't have pita & instead serve very bad bread.
We did not finish the dips for that reason.
My medium lamb chops were over cooked & no pick.
They were still tender & had good flavor.
The lemon potatoes had too much lemon but were well cooked.
The service was very good & the waiter added to our fun.
The restaurant is very nice inside but over air conditioned.

Some of the most exceptional service we've ever gotten; thank you Niko & the rest of the staff 🙏. This was our third celebration there over the recent years, & it never disappoints. The food was above & beyond. Service was great. My only complaint was that the restaurant was very cold. The door opens & the draft was uncomfortable. I wore my coat on my lap throughout the meal.
The lamb chops & octopus were to die for.
