Mundo Trattoria est né d'un rêve partagé par deux familles. Aujourd'hui, l'histoire se poursuit avec Johnny et Julian, des amis de toujours dont les pères ont fondé le restaurant ensemble. Ancrés dans la tradition et animés par la passion, ils ont su préserver l'essence d'une véritable trattoria italienne ici même à Kirkland.
Des pâtes fraîches faites à la main au veau tendre, en passant par les fruits de mer de saison, chaque plat reflète les saveurs de l'Italie et le soin particulier propre à une entreprise familiale. The best tagliatelle bolognese I've ever had, here or in Italy. Quality ingredients & excellent service by Johnny. My husband had the pescatore dish & loved the giant shrimp & scallops !
We always have an amazing time at mundo trattoria. We had dinner for our 1 year wedding anniversary. Johny & his front of the house staff really made us feel special as always. The generosity of the portions & the quality of the food is hard to beat. Max, our waiter did an amazing job. We had the egg plant parm & the beef short rib which was cooked to perfection. Will be back soon & recommend this restaurant for a warm & cozy service & delicious food.

The food was AMAZING. You can tell that the people in the kitchen are real pros who care about the quality of dishes they are sending out to the clients. Service was very attentive & everyone in the restaurant seemed to be having a good time. Atmosphere was 4/5 for us just because we are a younger couple dinning alone. It seems like a great place to go with a group.

His attentiveness, knowledge, & genuine friendliness made us feel welcomed & well-cared for throughout the night. Paolo went above & beyond to ensure that our dining experience was perfect, & his recommendations were spot-on. The ambiance of the restaurant is charming & inviting, providing the perfect backdrop for our gathering. Whether you're there for a special occasion or just a casual dinner, Mundo Trattoria offers an atmosphere that makes every moment special. A group of 10 co-workers were all very pleasantly surprised at the great service, the quality & the quantity of the food. The wine selection that the waiter chose for the group was fantastic. My team couldn't stop talking about the supper the next day. Thanks for a great experience

Though the service was wonderful & the food was good too, I decided to give a 3-star rating because the prices are rather outrageous for what we got. A small arugula salad is priced at about $14, there was nothing about it that made it worth the high price. I have had the same thing elsewhere for half that price. Also, my salmon was $37, & again yes it was good but nothing about it made it worth that price! It was a normal-sized piece of fillet that came with 2 roasted potato wedges & 5-6 aspagragus, nothing spectacular, no special sauce or anything that could make it worth that crazy price. Bread was super good. They were nice & brought some clementines & pannatone for free at the end of the meal.
I also tasted my husband's cod & it was super good. I have nothing to say about the food, just that you can eat just as well elsewhere for much less & get the same quality food. If you want great service & can afford the prices, then enjoy going to this resto.
