Mundo Trattoria est né d'un rêve partagé par deux familles. Aujourd'hui, l'histoire se poursuit avec Johnny et Julian, des amis de toujours dont les pères ont fondé le restaurant ensemble. Ancrés dans la tradition et animés par la passion, ils ont su préserver l'essence d'une véritable trattoria italienne ici même à Kirkland.
Des pâtes fraîches faites à la main au veau tendre, en passant par les fruits de mer de saison, chaque plat reflète les saveurs de l'Italie et le soin particulier propre à une entreprise familiale. Fort de plus de 10 ans de service et de quatre décennies de tradition culinaire italienne, Mundo Trattoria est bien plus qu'un simple restaurant : c'est un endroit où l'on se sent chez soi.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mundo! We hosted both my bridal shower & post-wedding dinner here, & from start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The owners & staff went above & beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of.
The service was impeccable- attentive, friendly & invested in making our celebrations special. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Our guests are still raving about the experience!

Food is delicious as always, calamari are to die for, the best in town. Wait staff is very attentive. Ambience is great, great decor. We went for the New Year's Eve Party & the menu was great, lots of food for everyone & everything was delicious. The live entertainment was awesome & people were dancing & partying. It was a great way to ring in the New Year, thanks for the great time! Kudos to Johnny & his team! Definitely highly recommend!

The food was AMAZING. You can tell that the people in the kitchen are real pros who care about the quality of dishes they are sending out to the clients. Service was very attentive & everyone in the restaurant seemed to be having a good time. Atmosphere was 4/5 for us just because we are a younger couple dinning alone. It seems like a great place to go with a group.

The ambiance of the restaurant is charming & inviting, providing the perfect backdrop for our gathering. Waiter was pleasant but not attentive although there were only 4 tables. Bus boy was fantastic. The shrimp risotto dish was ok. Risotto was not hot. Room temperature. Unfortunately we won't be back.

Food was great & waiters were very attentive.
We booked this reservation over 3 weeks ago yet our table was next to the speakers of the live performer. The noise level was too high for us & had difficulty hearing each other. We asked the volume to be reduced & it was done so slightly but second set was even louder.
It would have been helpful if when I was called to confirm our booking that I was notified of a live performer & location of table.

Chic, elegant, & more sophisticated than all other establishments in the Kirkland area. Delicious Italian fare & highly attentive service. Our evening was wonderful. Unique in the West Island.

Our review is Wow! Wow! Wow! , we had Sammy serve us which is a very attentive server. The food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was perfect. My wife & I were able to talk easily & ear each other . The restaurant is easily accessible . What a great evening, ! thank you as well to the chef for being so considerate. thank you all of you for making our evening that memorable !

We had some friends in from out of town. Everyone agreed that this was a great restaurant choice. They raved about the food, the service, the ambiance. The food was excellent. Our waiter, Manny, was very friendly & personable. & very attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend.
